<p>We ended up at Chick-Fil-A today. I had been doing well on plan all day with fruit for breakfast and salad for lunch. I decided to blow the rest of my Flex points at dinner and ordered a regular chick-fil-a sandwich and a shake for dinner. Most fast food shakes are about 10 points so I figured I would be OK. I checked the points online when I got home ( after I&#8217;d eaten it ) - 17 points!!! Yikes! It had over 700 calories! I also went with the regular sandwich (9 points) but realized later that the grilled sandwich would have been worth it at only 5 points. Live and learn.</p>
<p>I am still working on my goal of 15 lbs off before my Jamaica trip. The progress hasn&#8217;t exactly been quick, but I&#8217;m determined to succeed.</p>

<p>This means I am pretty much back to where I started on my 15 lbs in 15 weeks goal.  I am mostly to blame for careless tracking and too much splurging on eating out. But, I am going to place partial blame on TOM and I also that had 3 warts removed from my left foot which is making walking painful and thus, exercise nearly impossible for a few days.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve spent the last 2 days on house projects though - pulling weeds, sanding and refinishing a bench, staining the deck, which has afforded me some upper body workout. Yesterday I passed up free lunch at work and ate my salad and orange. I also went grocery shopping yesterday and loaded up on fresh produce and some Fat-free/sugar free treats I&#8217;m going to try. A gain is a set-back but I&#8217;m not derailed.</p>

<p>Yesterday I was CRAVING something sweet. I actually dug through my pantry *hoping* a box of brownie mix would be in there. Luckily there wasn&#8217;t. So I settled for a single serving of Kozy Shack  no-sugar added rice pudding . I sprinkled a little cinnamon on it - it was delish! She likes it better than the sugar free from the store. <p>Since I have been at a standstill for quite some time (actually,  a backslide most recently) I have decided to create an interim goal for the next fifteen weeks.  <strong>My goal is  to lose 15 pounds in 15 weeks.  </strong>It&#8217;s not unreasonable and totally doable if I just stick to what I know works. I am doing flex and will journal and stay within points, drink lots of water, and take my regular walks with the dog.  I have thought about trying out Core and will maybe switch sometime in the next 15 weeks depending on how things go. I&#8217;ll also update at least once per week and post my weigh-ins and update my progress page.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yeah, I know I haven&#8217;t been updating lately. Mostly it&#8217;s because I&#8217;m embarrassed that I have nothing successful to report. I&#8217;ve been just plain lazy. Although, yesterday I did get off my bum and take a great hike in the mountains with the pooch and a friend. It was pretty strenuous for my fitness level (feeling it in the butt today). Today was the last irish dance practice until September so I &#8216;ll just have to make better efforts to practice on my own through the summer months.</p>
<p>Anyway, on to the explanation of my post title - we are taking a trip to a Jamaican resort in October so now I have all the more reason to get my fanny in gear which means journaling, staying within points and working out! :)  I&#8217;m on the 15 week count down! <img src="http://www3.nationalgeographic.com/places/images/photos/photo_lg_jamaica.jpg" /></p>
