This means I am pretty much back to where I started on my 15 lbs in 15 weeks goal. I am mostly to blame for careless tracking and too much splurging on eating out. But, I am going to place partial blame on TOM and I also that had 3 warts removed from my left foot which is making walking painful and thus, exercise nearly impossible for a few days.
I’ve spent the last 2 days on house projects though - pulling weeds, sanding and refinishing a bench, staining the deck, which has afforded me some upper body workout. Yesterday I passed up free lunch at work and ate my salad and orange. I also went grocery shopping yesterday and loaded up on fresh produce and some Fat-free/sugar free treats I’m going to try. A gain is a set-back but I’m not derailed.

Not one pound, one-tenth of a pound! I guess I should consider it a victory anyway, though, after everything I ate at the Olive Garden yesterday and the double chocolate brownie sundaes on Sunday. So I am down 1.6 lbs in 2 weeks on my short term goal of 15 lbs in 15 weeks. I can do this!
Yesterday I was CRAVING something sweet. I actually dug through my pantry *hoping* a box of brownie mix would be in there. Luckily there wasn’t. So I settled for a single serving of Kozy Shack no-sugar added rice pudding . I sprinkled a little cinnamon on it - it was delish! I also have the sugar free Jell-O rice pudding, but it’s not nearly as good.

Wednesday is my weigh-in day (at home, on my own). I jump on the scale nearly every day, but this morning in my rush I just forgot. Soo… I’ll post my weekly weigh and loss/gain tomorrow. I am not too hopeful it will be down after the indulgence at lunch today with a friend at the Olive Garden.

A co-worker (who has lost over 100 lbs!) shared this brand with me. It is called Walden Farms and they sell calorie-free syrups, dressings and sauces. I tasted a bit of BBQ sauce they make and it was not bad. I’m curious if anyone else has tried any of their stuff and what you think.

They claim to be “calorie-free” which makes me a little nervous - like maybe if there’s no calories, it’s not real food and just a bunch of chemicals or something
Anyway, my friend said their syrup is great. She likes it better than the sugar free from the store. I’m thinking of trying some of their stuff, but wondered if anyone had a recommendation? In case you’re interested in checking out their products, they’re available at www.netrition.com

I am -1.5 lbs down from last week on my Wednesday weigh.
I have 13.5lbs to go on my 15 lbs in 15 weeks goal.
This is 6 lbs over my lowest weight of 173 last December. I have been faithful at journaling and trying to get back into the habit of pre-planning all of my meals. This helps me to allocate my points and not go over half way through the day. I am feeling great and determined to meet this goal!

** Interim Goal **
Since I have been at a standstill for quite some time (actually, a backslide most recently) I have decided to create an interim goal for the next fifteen weeks. My goal is to lose 15 pounds in 15 weeks. It’s not unreasonable and totally doable if I just stick to what I know works. I am doing flex and will journal and stay within points, drink lots of water, and take my regular walks with the dog. I have thought about trying out Core and will maybe switch sometime in the next 15 weeks depending on how things go. I’ll also update at least once per week and post my weigh-ins and update my progress page.

Why is 15 the magic number? That’s how long until I will be spending a week in a bathing suit on the shores of Jamaica! Wish me luck!
