A good Sunday & trying on jeans

Today was a pretty good day after a rough week. Last night we ate out at Applebees. We split the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer, but then I ordered from the WW menu for dinner. I had a few AP’s to spend because we had spent the day walking around car dealerships at the Auto Mall (still didn’t find a car…) Today was nice to just be at home all day and cooking what I could scrounge up around the house.
I tried on a pair of jeans at Target yesterday. They were on the clearance rack and they had sizes 12 and 16 left. I refused to even try on the 16’s since I’ve been consistently fitting in 14’s, but the 12’s were too tight. Actually they were on and zipped, but the didn’t look good enough to wear. Part of me wanted to get them anyway - they were cheap and would probably fit in a few pounds, but the rational part of me won, and I didn’t get them. I decided I would reward myself when I had lost the weight instead of buying something to fit into later. I can’t stop thinking about them though. Do the rest of you have clothes buying dilemmas? When I get down to about a 10, I have a zillion things I’ve saved over the years to wear, but I don’t have much of the in-between sizes. If I wear my biggest clothes, I look frumpy, but my smaller stuff is too small. It’s like I just blew by these sizes when I gained weight. Now I want to buy stuff that looks good, but don’t want to spend a lot for clothes I will only fit in temporarily. I am wearing a pair of 16s today and they are saggy in the bum and need a belt to keep them on properly. Even thought they fit this way because I’m thinner, they look worse than they did when I was filling them out. Weird isn’t it?
