not to shabby….

Well it has almost been 2 weeks on the… well with the new lifestyle…
Everything is going great I have stayed with my points everyday and if I want to eat something that I know will be high in points I either choose the ladder and not eat it or, go to the gym workout then go eat it. I know that it is kind of condesending but I am okay with that. I am for one going to the gym in which I have started to enjoy and it lets me have those little indulgences. But all is well. Nothing really to report lost 4.5 pounds this week which is wonderful, but it was also the first week. Everyone have a great week and I will be back to report soon. I am going to try and blog more… but I hopefully will be able to get one a week on here….

Day 4…

Well it is day #4 nothing really to report other than I think that this is going pretty well… I have stayed within my points range for the last 3 nights and so far for today. But I will say that I have found a new brand of cheerios for all you cerel people in the morning. It is the Cheerios Crunch… It tastes like honey nut cheerios with a granola twist. It is quite good. I will highly recommend it, in which it is like 10 less calories then the mulitgrain ones. Not like 10 calories matter due to the fact that you can burn that off walking down the hall. But they are wonderful…
My food blog for today:
V8- 1 pt (which does anyone know if this counts as veggies or not)
Cheerios - 2 pt
Lg Apple - 2 pts
Lean Cuisine Meal - 7 pts.
2 cups of broccoli - 2 pts

That is it so far. Wish me luck for tmw. what is the saying it taked 30 days to make or break a habit???? Well 26 to go….

Back Again….

wow… what a month since I have been on this… Well my new niece was born 3 days after my last post. Christmas and new years happend and so did 4 pounds. :( Oh well back on track I have been tracking and keeping straight on all my points and hope to, wait, and I will keep going. I have the motivation now so I am ready to roll with this lifestyle change. This is day 3 of the rest of my life sooooo…. Here it goes…

Red Strings….

This might not be understand by most, so let me explain. As you know I work in the medical field… in reslut of that I wear scrubs every day all day. In which I partially blame my weight gain on the scrubs because you really dont know when you gain or lost until it is too late… So the red strings things. The way you are able to tell the different sizes of the scrubs is the strings in the pants and the rim on the back of the shirt. I usually wear black string pants in which that means that they are a size large. Well today when I got to work I grabbed my black string pants and tried them on… it was like stretching a gnats ass over a rain barrell. They were so tight. So me trying to tell myself that it must have been the pants I try another pair on. Yep tight again. So I guess that I am just trying to vent and thank god I decided to make this life change today…. So far so good.

Breakfast:
1 - diet Cherry Coke zero - 0
2 - cans of v8 - 1
1 - Kashi go lean crunch - 4 (which I thought that this was healthy)
1 - lg apple - 2

this is as of 10:30 this am. So I wil repost with other thoughts this afternoon. Happy counting!

All about me…

Well what can I say other than this will be the absolute last time that I have to say…. I am starting my diet tomarrow… Considering I have said it countless times and look to where it has got me.
Who am I? Well first of all my name is Kelly I live in central Illinois ang work at a level 1 trauma center as an Angiographer. To those who are not familiar I work in a surgical suite in which we use xray/or some sort of Radiology in our exams.
I am currently 25 yeards old and I have been fighting my weight for most of my life. I currently weigh in at 200 pounds and I would really like to get back into shape and start feeling better. Roni has been a great inspiration to me and the motivation/information that she puts on her website is great.
I am always up for any suggestions so if you have any let me know.
So for the first time instead of the last time…. My new life starts tomorrow, because it is not a diet anymore. It is a lifestyle change!
