MiA
22 04 2008Hi, sorry I have been MiA for the last little bit. I guess I am just frustrated with everything, and coming to the end of my rope with things.
So here is the skinny: (no pun intended). I have started a very low carb (even lower than normal on 100% strict) diet. I have also started aquafit. Yeah, aquafit. That is right, it is the dreaded E word. So I started last week and I am slowly getting better at it, but the next day it feels like my muscles are REVOLTING against me. Seriously REVOLTING! They ache, I am exhausted, I am dizzy and weak, and I hate excersise. This is ridiculous.
My body continues to revolt against me. I have a severe allergy to excercise.

I hear you! I didn’t weigh in at the clinic on Monday as my weight went up one pound after a weekend of pure strict eating. I’m almost at my breaking point. I signed up for 4 more weeks of injections (still have about 15 pounds to do before my personal goal - and the uppermost threshold of where I can declare clinic maintenance). I am barely moving downwards. I promised myself I would finish the injections and then consult a registered dietician who helped a friend of mine lose 100+ pounds for the remaining weight. It might take much longer, but at least it will be helping me live in the “real world”.
Does this mean you are still doing Dr. B minus fruit & bread. You’ll have to let us know who that is working for you. And GREAT WORK on the exercise. I admire taking the plunge so to speak (bad joke!). Good luck with everything this week.
I wouldn’t get too down on yourself. You are seriously doing great. It’s inspiring to see you sticking to your goals-especially since those goals were crazy. Good luck on the new diet…I hope you keep seeing those numbers going down!
