A girl on a mission…

I always, always, always feel so strong until the damn weekend hits.  Also, as a self-proclaimed emotional eater, life has been coming at me fast the last couple of weeks and my diet/body reflect this.  I had a TOTAL emotional breakdown in bed last night.  I always get to thinking at night when there are no TV/papers to write/dishes to do to distract me.  I’m definitely feeling just NEGATIVE and I’m not sure how to break out of it.

Good day on the eating front, but things are a little crazy on the home front.  The husband and I might MOVE.  Lots to think and talk about so unfortunately, this post will just be food.

I’m not sure if I am the only fan of The Office on NBC, but tonight was a pretty big night for those of us who claim to be true Dunder-Heads.  The first new episode, in over FIVE MONTHS, aired tonight and it did NOT disappoint.  I looked forward to it all day and it made my day go by so QUICK.  I am feeling SO SO much better on the eating front and finally like my big butt made it back on the wagon, so we’ll see if we can keep this motivation up.

Today, weather wise, was SUPER GLOOMY….and it’s supposed to start snowing!!!  I don’t even want to talk about it.   I’m going to post my journal again today, as per my promise a few days ago.  I have realized that I probably cannot buy Fiber One Bars however because I can’t lay off of them.  I’ve been eating like two a day for a couple of days and I know they aren’t the most unprocessed bars out there.  I’m thinking that I’ll switch to Kashi for awhile.  I used to buy those and I really liked them.  Hopefully, I can have a little more self control with those!

Just a quick post tonight, as I have pages of Stats staring me in the face. I did pretty well today. The husband and I tried out our new bikes for about twenty minutes around the neighborhood and they were SO much better then our old ones. I have two points left that will probably go for fruit or a cheesestick, but I swear I’m staying on track! Here’s today’s breakdown:

Well, so much for my daily posts.  Seeing your messages in my inbox has really been the only thing keeping me going as far as WW is concerned.  How many times do I have to recommit before I’m actually recommitting?! I’ve been puttering around this past week, counting points until about dinner and then saying eff it, and pretty much binging.  It’s all self-sabatoge.  It always is with me.  I feel like shit, which in turn makes me eat shit, which makes me look like…well you get the picture.

So, am I back?!  YES.  A RESOUNDING YES.  I am swearing daily posts, no matter how small.  And they will include food journals.  I have, have, HAVE to have that increased accountability.  If that makes me weak, then I am, but I just can’t do this all on my own.  This is clear.  I have to have that support system.  If I don’t, I am just setting myself up for failure.  I am addicted to food.  I use it to cope with stress, anger, sadness, any emotion that I can’t handle.  All of these emotions end up being a large buttered popcorn with milk duds, or 5 servings of spaghetti, or a pint of chocolate ice cream, etc.

For me, WW has been such an emotional rollercoaster.  I’ll go from feeling totally positive, and upbeat, feeling like this can really be done.  I can eat well and feel great.  But then the next, I find myself elbow deep in a bag of BBQ chips.  It’s just crazy.  So, I’m going to try this extra accountability for awhile.  Once again, thank you SO SO much for the comments.  It’s good to know you all are out there!

Oh man you guys!!  Spring Break was CRAZY and then LIFE was crazy.  But I am honestly back and recommitted and feeling much better.  I weighed in yesterday for the first time in 2 1/2 weeks and clocked in a FIVE POUND GAIN.  That was enough to get my ass in gear and really buckle back down.  I’m at school, so this post is a small one, but much bigger daily ones are coming.  I swear.

If feels good to be back! :)

I AM OFFICIALLY ON SPRING BREAK!!!  The husband and I are headed back to S.Dak to hang out with the family, so I doubt I will be posting much over the next week, but then I will be back with a VENGANCE.  At WI today, I lost 2 lbs, which I was pretty happy with, although I usually weigh in on Mondays instead of Fridays, but I will TAKE IT!!!  That means 13.6 lbs. GONE PEOPLE!  I hope everyone has a really fantastic weekend and I will report about the break soon.
