Hate the Love Handles
A few days ago I asked if anyone had any bright ideas on how to get rid of love handles at the bottom of my blog. Well I didn’t get to many ideas. So I am asking again if anyone has tried something that got results or something that they are trying. I really would like to focus on this area. Or maybe it will just come off as I lose more weight. I just hate when my shirt will cling to me and there is a big roll. I am thinking maybe I need to lose more weight then I originally planned. My goal was 160. I only have 12 more pounds to go. Maybe 150 should be my new goal. I guess we will see what I look like when I reach my goal.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Hi there…thanks for the comments on my 9 questions….
I wanted to get back to you about your daughter. I’m not sure what your view on this is, but at 10 my daughter ate what I bought at the grocery store. Period.
I don’t mean to sound preachy or blunt, but she didn’t get a choice, and I generally didn’t over-eat in front of her, but after she was in bed. Sure, my portion sizes at meal times were too big, but there weren’t seconds, etc.
She isn’t a fussy eater, and will try anything almost…but by controlling what I cook and what I buy, her weight has never been an issue.
I think at 10 if you start to only make healthy meals at home, and healthy snacking, because snacking is important too, then she will learn what is healthy and also that it takes less to feel full than you may realize.
Sure, candy or cookies can be a part of what she eats, heck, it can be in all our diets, but like everything else, in moderation to be healthy.
I wish you luck with making a transition for her. When I said I blamed my mom, I was serious, but she bought all kinds of junk food, and we could eat whatever we wanted whenever we wanted…no restrictions. If she had given me that I may not have been over 200lbs when I graduated from high school.

In my experience of losing (and then re-gaining!) weight over my life time, is that the problem spots are the last to shrink down. I don’t know of any exercises to recommend but I expect you will see a big difference in your “love handles” while you are losing those last 12 lbs. Keep up the great work!!
I am right there with you. The weight has come off everywhere except my stomach/love handles. I think it’s just going to be the last bit of fat to go!
