Wow, a week went by fast! Didn’t realize it!! Last weekend I was away at a Mary Kay retreat in Avalon, NJ and LOVED it!! We had such a good time and it was very relaxing! I was concerned because I know I ate alot, but it was really good food and actually alot of fruits and veggies. So, this week I was pretty close to OP, not sure exactly as the week flew by I didn’t track well. BUT, for WI this morning I was thrilled to step on the scale and see…….157.2!! So I am down 1.4 and I am really close to my next goal which is ending college weight-right about 155. This is really exciting bc I met my hubby in the 2nd semester at college so I’m much closer to the weight we met at. The problem is it’s shifted now!! :) Anyway, eating today was ok, not great. I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, have company coming into town that only gave us 14 hours notice so I have lots to do and little time to do it in, but I will try to be back and more consistent in posting. Weigh in…

Well, it wasn’t much, but something I guess!  I lost .5 this week.  As long as it’s going in that direction that’s  great!!   

Anyway, boot camp days seem to be when I’m motivated to post, need to work on it.  I definately eat better when I post and have accountability…even if there’s no one reading it!! Oh well.  This weekend I’m going away to a Mary Kay retreat.  I’m sure there will be lots of food and it could be either great food or the food you’re served when your in an expensive resturaunt that 1/2 is stuff you don’t like the other half…oh wait, there was no other 1/2-the servings seem small.  I don’t know which one I’m hoping for, but we’ll see how it goes!  I’m going to try and track my intake so I can start this week out on a good note!

Boot camp was tough today.  Physically tough and then on top of it I did something to my left shoulder and it really hurts.  Of course what were we doing today? weights, push ups, sea-bag drags….everything involving shoulder!  I did my best, but wish I could have pushed harder!  Hopefully it will feel better over the weekend!

Rainy, Muddy and Sweaty…

That was yesterday’s Boot camp for ya…but it was fun!! We went outside to the track at a local school and we did all our exercises in the grass. We pushed hard and at the end we were all really dirty and gross…it felt great! I never thought I would say that, but it did! I also cheated a little and stepped on the scale just to see and it was 158.5, hopefully this week it will stay there or go down, not up like last week! My eating yesterday was ok, don’t remember all of it I’m sure but close to within range. Life has been very busy recently and I’m trying to keep up with it all so that’s why posting has not been as consistent as I would like. I’ll get in a routine sooner or later!!

Monday’s are rough

Well, this morning 5am rolled around faster than expected. Having been on my feet all day yesterday didn’t help, but it was ok. Got to Bootcamp and Dr. O wasn’t there. The 2 instructors ran boot camp and it was a good workout, but it seems like something is missing when there isn’t the commanding voice I guess. It just seemed like I couldn’t kick it into high gear for some reason. Overall though a decent day.

Sunday was a little messy…

Ok, I know I’m late to post this, but better late then never I guess! I am a Mary Kay consultant and Sunday was Skippack Days (local area and huge vendor day, food, prizes etc). I was there from 9 am-6pm standing ALL day in heels-that counts for something right? It was great for my business, but I was rushed and didn’t eat as well as I would have liked. Not too aweful, but I wasn’t in control of my food as much as I would have liked. Plus one of the local bakeries was there and they made my wedding cake…BEST sour creme pound cake! AND they were giving away free samples not to mention they were only 10 feet from my booth all day! I was good until about 2pm when it seemed like a ton of people came by with it and the girl I was with went and got a piece. So I had one, but it was only 1/4 size of a birthday-type slice. All this to say it was a day I know I went over in points and I’m just going to guesstimate…

I probably used 11 FP leaving 21.5 for the rest of the week.

Went to the pumpkin patch…

Well this is the only weekend that we aren’t busy in October and my DH and I really wanted to take the kids to the pumpkin patch.  The appointment I was supposed to have this morning was postponed, so off we went!!  I’ll have to get some pic up, but the kids loved it!  My DH asked be before we left if I had a shirt that was a little more form fitting…I don’t.  I really need new clothes, but don’t want to buy a ton because I’m still not the weight I want to be!! (plus I need to do laundry…)  Anyway, thought I would start my post earlier today so I can make sure I stay OP.

Weigh In Yesterday!!

Don’t know why I wrote a new page, not a post the other day, need to fix it eventually…Anyway, yesterday was insane and I didn’t have time to post, but I did have my weigh in and it was 159.1 which is ok I guess.  For the last 3 or 4 weeks I have been anywhere from 159.5-159.9 just kinda holding steady.  So breaking through that is good, but I was a little frustrated because on Weds. I checked my weight and was at 158.4.  I did get my “friend” yesterday and that always makes my weight go up…either way it was a loss at least! 

Bootcamp yesterday was ok, but I felt like junk (I always do on my first day!) so I know I didn’t push as hard as I wanted to.  I did a lot of walking yesterday pushing the stroller and 2 kids.  Also, I clean a dentist’s office weekly and did that last night which worked up a sweat so that’s always good!  Normally I figure my daily points between sitting and standing most of the day.  I work for my dad and sit a lot while I’m there, but rarely do I sit when I’m home….anyone have any suggestions on the best way to have my starting points goal for the day?  Should I figure it each day based on what I’m doing?

 Hey everyone!  I have been tracking my points for a while now and emailing to a few friends and family, but it was really hard to keep up with especially on days that I wasn’t at home and couldn’t update.  My sis has been blogging for a while know and is going to help me get this up and running, but bear with me if I make stupid mistakes!!  I have been doing Boot Camp and this is my 4th session as well as tracking points and in the last 10 months or so I have lost 33lbs.  I have about 22 to go and really need to push through to the end.  When I set a goal, I have to accomplish it!   Please feel free to leave a comment as you stop by!  As I go I’m sure I’ll get better at putting my thoughts together, but for tonight I have a lot to get done and really wanted to post something to get started, so here was today’s menu…
