I’m a loser!

That’s right… it’s official! I am a loser!!!! LOL! The scale read 157.0 this morning! I am soooo excited for my official WI tomorrow! I have high hopes that it will be lower then it has been since I began my WWers journey! I stuck to my points yesterday, had oatmeal for breakfast (2), a tostada salad for lunch (12), an orange for dinner (1), and some popcorn during the movie I watched with my AWESOME boys (2). Total of 17. I had to estimate on the salad so I tried to stay under my points just in case I mis-calculated! I made it to the gym last night and got a good work-out in! The gym has been soooo busy lately! You can tell that lot’s of people want to be “losers” too for the new year! :)



Dating and Dieting Don’t Mix!!!!

It is tough! I love going out… good company, feeling great, and FOOD! but it is so hard to stay OP! I have been trying to make healthy choices, usually soup and salad, but last night I caved a little… I was taken to a nice local steak restaraunt and enjoyed shrimp, salad, steak, grilled veggies, bread!!! It was so dang good! I had only had 4 points throughout the day which left 17 for dinner but I went WAY over that! Good thing I had some flex points! =)The scale was up a little higher then yesterday but not too bad… I think I am still on track for WI on Friday. I also missed my workout last night because I had better things to do! LOL! Today’s plan is to stay OP and make sure that I get my run in after work! Happy OP day to you! =)



Things are looking down again….

in the WEIGHT DEPARTMENT!!! I scared you didn’t I! :) Life is GREAT!!! and the weight is dropping!!!! I was able to stay OP all weekend and the scale read 158.8 this morning!!! YIPEE!!! That’s 10 pounds since last week… I know, I know, that a lot of it is water weight but I am still taking it as a victory and it is a HUGE motivation!!! I have 2 goals for this week, The first is to be at my lowest yet of 156.8 by WI on Friday! That’s 2 more pounds… I KNOW I can do it! The 2nd is to get more workouts in. I was only able to hit the gym once last week but I know that if I want to reach goal one, that goal two has to be reached as well! It feels great to be back and on track! Even with going out a couple of times last week I was still able to stay OP! I am still going to keep my goal of hitting 139 by my 1 year WWer anniversary on 02/26/2008!!! Thats 20 pounds… in 7 weeks… it will be hard but I am gonna try! Happy Day to everyone! :)

I’m Back and On Track!!!

I completed day 1 completely OP!!! I feel great and I am super excited about keeping it up and getting it off!!! I ended the day at 20 points… 2 under what I am allowed so I feel great! Plus… I hit the gym last night (with everybody else! lol!) and ran 3 miles! The scale read 168.4 yesterday morning and today it had dropped a lot! 164.6! I am excited to get back to the 150’s and move on to hit the 130’s!!! Life is really good right now! I don’t see any road blocks in the near future to throw me off course. This time of the year is always pretty easy for me to get motivated and get some weight off… I KNOW I can do this! Happy OP Day to Everyone! :)

Happy New Year everyone!!! I am soooo glad to say goodbye to 2007!!! 2008 is going to be GREAT!!!! I am finally ready and motivated to get back on track and get the last bit of weight off! I started today… Zero points so far! :) Thank you to all of those who have supported me over these past 3 months. I am excited to leave the “rutt” behind and get to goal! Here’s to day one OP!!! :)



Boring Broken Record!

Same old story… same old news… nothing new to report! I won’t bore you all with the same old “maintaining but want to lose” story! It is what it is though! I have set a more realistic goal… one that I know I can keep! I am going to continue to maintain until the end of the year. I want to get Christmas out of the way (or should I say the Christmas treats :)), enjoy my week and a half break from work and hang out with my AWESOME boys without guilt or worry about what I am eating, and then I will start to count and lose beginning 01/02/2008!!! In the past when I have lost weight, I always lose the most from January to May so I have high hopes of getting the rest off! I hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful time of year and that all is well!



Dancing in the Rain…

I have a new life quote that I saw the other day and I now have it hanging in my office….
“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass… It’s about learning to dance in the Rain”
So… I am learning to Dance in the Rain!!! Some days are easier then others. Monday was a rough day… I didn’t do any dancing at all actually… but I danced all day yesterday and things are looking well today! Life really is good. I have so many blessings in my life… I have the best boys in the world! They are my life and I am loving being a mother!!! They are my best friends! I have an AWESOME family and GREAT friends and a huge support network! I am so lucky and so blessed!
On the weight loss front… I have some FANTASTIC news!!! The scale was down ever so slightly on Friday at WI, but now 5 days later… it is down 3 pounds! The scale read 158 this morning! I have 2 days left until WI and I am going to get that number to 156!!! I am determined! I have been hitting the gym a lot more lately and I know that it is helping a ton… not just with the body but also the mind!!! In fact… I am going more for my mind then the body! I love the escape that I get when I go!!! I love to turn my ipod up as loud as it will go and forget the world! Heck… I don’t even notice the people around me most of the time! Its GREAT! I hope everyone is doing well and “dancing in the Rain”!!!



I’ve been hiding!

I have a confession…. I have been hiding from you guys!!! I know… I know… BAD!!! I am guilty of not counting, and as you can see from my progress, I have gained 3 pounds! Needless to say… My goal of 149 by New Year’s is out the window… It’s impossible unless I starve myself and work out until I pass out!!! I am a bit ashamed to tell you the truth!!! I really want to get back OP and get the weight off that I am carrying around but I guess I just don’t have the motivation that I need to do it right now. I have still been going to the gym for my “therapy sessions” 3x’s a week so I think that is helping me not be up more then I am. I am just not counting or watching AT ALL! WI did open my eyes a bit last week and I am keeping a better eye on what I am eating! Hopefully I can get the scale down a bit before Friday. Hope everyone else is doing better then me!!! :) I will try not to hide out anymore even if I am not being good!!!



Party Weekend!

I had WI on Friday and the scale read 158.8. I’ve still got some work to do to get it back down! I really blew it this weekend! My boys were gone with their dad for the weekend and I went out of town with a close friend. We had a BLAST!!! We did some shopping and some major splurging in the food department! It was great! I also had Thanksgiving dinner yesterday so pretty much the scale hated me this morning!!! I’ve got to kick butt this week before turkey day! I am hoping to just maintain what I was this week due to the holiday. I am going to hit the gym a few times… I am even planning on going on the morning of Thanksgiving before WI. I bought me a way cute pair of jeans this weekend! I wanted a cute pair to get me through until I get the rest off, so I got them a little tight but they are HOT! and a size 7!!! WOO HOO!!! Can’t wait to see the size I will be in when the rest of the weight comes off!!! It’s kindof like a game!!! “How Low Can You GO!”
