Tracking away!

I am tracking like crazy this week!!! I am staying OP and the couple pounds I gained last week are slipping away!!! Life is a bit crazy and stressful right now but I am not turning to food. I have not been able to hit the gym for a couple days and I am MISSING IT BAD!!! I decided to change my schedule around and try to go in the morning before work so that I don’t take away from my families time, but it is REALLY hard for me to get my butt out of bed!!! Here is my menu for the last few days!

Not doing too bad. I did spend two hours at the gym on Monday and failed to calculate and consume any AP’s… I just wasn’t hungry that day… I will try to do better at that! I decided to try the advanced step class at the gym on Monday night and it was a BLAST!!! I am going to make it a weekly workout! I loved it! Hope everyone is doing well! :)

I thought of one more goal to help me lose my gain! I am going to TRACK TRACK TRACK!!! I have been a huge slacker in that department as well! I don’t even remember the last time that I really did good at it! I am also planning on posting my menus everyday… I know that it is boring but it will keep me accountable! So far so good today! :)

For the first time since I started WWers, I showed a gain at WI this week… and not a little one! I was up 2.2 pounds!!! I know that part of it was due to my TOTM and the water weight and muscle gain from heavy lifting at the gym, plus… I just got off of my “starvation” diet so it didn’t surprise me with all of these factors that the scale showed a little… plus I earned a little of the gain by being such a slacker!!! The funny thing is… I wasn’t blue about it! I know I have been slacking at the eating thing lately, but I think part of it might be because of my heavy workouts! I realized this weekend that I am spending between 2 and 2 1/2 hours at the gym EVERY day!!! I have not been calculating in AP’s and I think that my body is hungry. I need to feed my body more because I am burning a lot more. Lifting is tough and I don’t think that my body is liking it without the proper nutrition to help! I do have to admit though that after WI on Friday the diet went out the window! My DH and cutie sons were gone to the in-laws all weekend so I was single and living it up! I ate what I wanted when I wanted and excepted that I would just deal with the gain on Monday and start fresh! So today is Monday… The scale was actually not up today after the weekend so that is good (I must have lost some water weight that countered my bad eating!)
The goals for the week are
1. Stay OP ALL WEEK!!!
2. Continue lifting everyday
3. Get at least 4 runs in
4. Calculate and consume my AP”S!!!
5. Lose the gain!
Hopefully this will help get the gain off! I worked so hard to get into the 150’s- I HAVE to get back into them by Friday!!! Hope everyone had a great weekend!



Yep… Still a slacker!

I really did give it a good effort yesterday, and I did do better, but I am still a slacker! I sooo wish my cravings would go away, that I would feel satisfied, and that I would not cave in to both! I know that this will pass… that I will get back on and start kicking butt again I just have to make it through! The scale was WAY up this morning… There is not a doubt in my mind that I will be seeing a gain this week, but I know why and I am not going to get discouraged. My TOTM is a major factor… I go through this same exact thing EVERY month! Another factor is that I have been doing some MAJOR lifting at the gym!!! My legs are so sore this morning that I can not walk! They feel worse today then they did the day after my 13 mile hike! The week that I did the hike I was up because my muscles were retaining water to help them heal and I know that they are doing the same thing now. A gain is OK… it will be my first one in almost 6 months… not bad! I am going to try and be good today and make good choices. I am planning on having some cereal and a one point bagel for breakfast, some leftover homemade low fat lasagna for lunch, and chicken and corn for dinner. Yum Yum! Sounds like a fun-food-filled day!

I have not posted since Saturday and the truth is it is because I have been doing terrible! I up on the scale and expecting a gain at WI on Friday. I am not letting my TOTM take me by surprise this month… I know it is coming and I am feeling the effects of it! I am accepting that the reason that I am not feeling satisfied, craving anything sweet, feeling bloated, and up on the scale is because of it, but I still HATE IT!!!! The good news is that I woke up this morning and said “Enough is Enough!!!” I AM GOING TO BE GOOD TODAY!!! I really don’t want to be up at WI this week but I have to admit… I have earned a gain! Yesterday was the worst! hamburger, fries, and a homemade oreo cookie!!! UUUUGGGGHHHH!!!! Thank goodness today is a new day!



Hello 150’s!!! I have missed you!!!

I re-intruduced myself to the 150’s this week at WI!!! Man! I have missed them!!! This also marked off another goal for me… almost a whole month ahead of schedule!!! Feeling GREAT! and OH SO HAPPY!!! Bring on the 140’s!!! I don’t even remember them!!! It’s been almost 15 years since we have seen each other!!!!!!!!



Todays Wagon Ride!

I am still on the wagon and hanging on! I had a 3 point bowl of cereal- planning on having a hamburger for lunch so I will have a low point dinner! I am craving watermelon and homemade salsa!!! Sounds like I have dinner planned! :) It is so nice that I am not in the habit of craving sugar and chocolate as much as I used to! Watermelon and fruit are so much healthier and are now the “sweets” that I crave!



I didn’t fall off the wagon…. I JUMPED!!!

I really hate to admit to this-but I need to be accountable!!! Yesterday was my first day off of ISAGENIX and I was terrible!!! I did good for most of the day- I had a bowl of cereal for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and then 3:00 hit! My dad called and asked me to go to a concert with him that night! I had to hurry home, change my clothes, and go to my dad’s too fast to even think about dinner or food. We got to the concert at 6:00 and I was starving! Of course the only thing that the venue offered for food was your healthy pick of pizza, nachos, hamburgers, and numerous high point foods!!! What’s a girl to do!!! I opted to have a 6″ square slice of cheese pizza- I have not had pizza in forever and I completely regretted my decision! Not only did I feel like crap after I ate it, but I was still hungry!!! They had a booth that was selling yummi fruit smoothies so I justified that as being a healthy alternative (even though I am sure it was full of sugar!)! It was sooo good and hit the spot but I have no clue how many points it was!!! The pizza was 10 points which gobbled up the remaining points I had left so the smoothie put me into my flex by who knows how many!!! I know that “legally” I didn’t “cheat” but considering the fact that I had ZERO points on Monday and Tuesday, I feel terrible that I ate so bad yesterday! My poor poor body!!! I am back on the wagon today and ready to make healthy choices ALL DAY no matter what!!! As far as the concert… it was AWESOME!!! We had a GREAT time and I LOVED it!!!
