Eat Your Vegetables!

I thought this picture was so cute.  :-)

My weekend went fairly well considering I had my daughter’s birthday party this past Saturday.  I didn’t do “great”, but not too bad either.  I was in control and not mindlessly eating everything in sight.  I was very aware of what and how much I was putting in my mouth and though I topped out at 34.5 points (I’m only supposed to have 19) for the day, I feel I could have actually done much worse.  I had the flex points available, so I used them.  We have to live a little - it’s not everyday we have parties (THANK GOD - LOL).  Not to mention the Spanish food - that’s a real treat.  And like I said, I could have done more damage.  I enjoyed the food, the drink and the company and I lived life on Saturday.  Sunday, back to reality.

I was back on track on Sunday, and even went for an hour walk with my husband.  My official weigh in is tomorrow, so I’m crossing fingers and toes that if nothing else I at least maintain.

    Congrats for enjoying a party but not doing yourself “in”! :) That’s such an empowering feeling. I had just had a weekend like that as well. I would love to see some samples of your daily menus (tracking points). Keep up the great attitude! You’ll make your goal!
