I know I should be jumping up and down because technically I did see a loss. The problem? I weighed 151.4 on 11/1. I weighed 154.4 (a THREE pound gain) on 11/8. Today I weighed in at 152.2 which is a 2.2 pound loss from last week, but still a pound up from the lowest weight I saw this month. But I’ve been playing with 150-154 for MONTHS now, and as elated as I might be that I at least lost 2 of the 3 pounds I gained last week, I can’t help but feel let down. I let myself down because I’m the one that made the choices that caused the gain in the first place. I’m just venting here because I know that I just need to chalk this up as a lesson and move on.
It was my fifteen year wedding anniversary yesterday. Hubby and I have a trip planned for Vegas the weekend of the thirtieth as our official celebration. He did meet me for lunch yesterday so we spent a little time alone. It was really nice.
I didn’t work out last night. I just didn’t have the steam to do it. I had a very physical day at work packing up boxes - 23 boxes filled with books and prizes for the clubs that I coordinate. I was tuckered out by the end of the day! I came home, started dinner, had to run out and pick up DD1 from drama club, back home to finish up dinner and pick up around the house. When all was said and done, I sat on the couch to watch a little television with the hubby, and the televison ended up watching me! DH woke me to tell me to go to the bedroom, and then chuckled and said “I guess you’re too tired for your run tonight.” And you know, I was too tired. He’s being very supportive and encourages me to continue with the program. I’m trying!
Well, here’s to next week! And may I at least break into 150! LOL! I would love to see under the 150, but one step at a time. I’ll get there again. I did it once, I can do it again.
I hope all of you are having an awesome day, and thanks for stopping by. ![]()
