Tracking Points

Tracking - UGH! I have to admit, I’m out of practice! LOL! I took a long break this time (more than a month) where I didn’t track a thing that I put into my mouth. I still tried to watch what I ate, and not go TOO crazy, but I just did not want to journal my food. But I know that in order to reach my goal, I need to keep tracking. It’s what keeps me focused and on track. I will be counting my points again as I was very successful when I did it the first time around.
I had a bad tracking weekend - always do. I ate well, made good choices, but didn’t write them down. I’m not going to beat myself up about it, just try to do better next weekend! I find I’m more successful in keeping track and drinking water when I am at work. I’m more disciplined, and not as much temptation at work as there is at home.
The weekend was relatively quiet. My two oldest (16 and 14) went to their homecoming dance this past Saturday. They both looked so nice! I was shopping most of the morning for shoes for my daughter’s dress. We had a blast just hanging out. I had my five year old daughter along as well. She loves doing girlie girl stuff with her mom and her sissy.
I had an NSV while we were out shopping. Well, it was an NSV to me. I took the girls to Barnes & Noble (one of our favorite places to be). We stopped in for Starbucks, and then I bought the baby a Halloween book she was eyeing. My girls were looking at bookmarkers by the entrance while I was paying. The gentleman that rang me up says to me, “It is so sweet seeing three sisters out shopping together!” I just had this big ol’ smile on my face. He was just being polite I’m sure, but it sure felt nice. Put a little pep in my step for the rest of the afternoon!
Sunday was just a lazy day at home. Did some house chores, but other than that just hung out with the five year old playing games, watching movies, and staying away from junk food!
Hope you are all having a great day, and thanks for stopping by. ![]()
