Back on track…

The last few days have been tough, but I’ll chalk that up to the monthly munchies and abundance of birthday cake.  Today the cake is gone and I’m back on track.  There is another cake waiting for me at work on Tuesday, but I feel better now and I’m sure I can handle it.

I’m feeling a bit lost this weekend because I lost my food journal. I had this cute little red folder that my husband brought back from some health care conference thingy. It was just big enough for a 4 x 6 notepad and had a pen holder and spaces for business cards on the other side - that’s where I kept a card tracking my flexpoints for the week. I searched everywhere at home and even went in to work to see if I left it there. My only hope is that it is at work, but maybe it’s under my desk so I just didn’t see it. I love that little folder. And I attribute much of my food journaling success to the fact that I love it. Hopefully it will turn up.
 
About 2 weeks ago, I posted on the boards that my goal for the week was to get to the gym 5 times - and I did it!  But I didn’t make it a goal for this past week, and I only got there twice :(.  Tomorrow (since I’m not working due to the MLK holiday) I’ll go to the gym, and I will also go 4 more times.  Really!  I promise myself.

If you’ve just read this whole boring post, I appologize. I can’t be interesting, insightful and exciting all the time. But here’s something exciting:
