Spaghetti squash lasagna, pitaboli…
Posted by Lois Anne on January 14th, 2008
I had another great day today - I keep wondering when it’s going to start getting really hard. Isn’t losing weight supposed to be hard? I mean, that’s why I’m overweight, right? ‘Cause it’s hard to lose weight. Why couldn’t I do this before?
Maybe it’s because I didn’t eat spaghetti squash lasagna before - it’s pretty good! And I made up a sandwich I call a pitaboli - I spread 1 laughing cow lite swiss wedge inside a whole wheat pita (half a wedge in each pita half), add 6 slices of turkey pepperoni in each half, and microwave for about 45 seconds. It tastes like a stromboli and it’s only about 5 points (depending on the points in your pita).
I’ve tried to lose weight before (and lost weight and gained it back), but I’ve never put so much effort into looking for recipes and writing down all my food before. And I’ve never been in such a good exercise groove before. And I’ve never blogged before! It really makes a difference. This time is my time!

isn’t it amazing how truly simple it is just keeping track of what you eat? I started up just a week or two after you did, and am finding tracking points, finding new and interesting food combos (your pitaboli sounds amazing!) and blogging are helping me along too. This time is your time…and mine too! Happy Dance!
