Flex points (or is it “Flexpoints”?)

So last night was bunco with the girls. I did really well during the day, and had 7.5 points left when I left my house. Then I consumed about 13 points (estimate) at bunco. And I watched myself and only had one beer and tried not to overdo it - wow! Those points add up fast when you’re eating Fritos and sausage dip. So I used 5.5 flex points. No biggie.
Then tonight we went to Applebee’s for dinner. I had the Quesadilla burger and ate 3/4 of it… well, okay more like 4/5 of it. And DH got an order of onion rings before dinner which I had to taste. And a Corona Light - *love* my Corona Light especially with a burger! I figured I’d been good, and I had flex points… what the heck, right? Well, I got home and looked around on the internet for something comparable so I could estimate the points, and I’m guessing the portion of the burger I ate was about 19 points. Yikes! So there goes another 11.5 flex points today. Fortunately tomorrow we’re home all day so I can eat my healthy stuff, and my flex points renew on Monday.
I don’t feel guilty about using the majority of my flexpoints. But I lost 4 lbs in 2 weeks, and during that 2 weeks I barely dipped into my flexpoints (is that one word or two? I can’t make up my mind) at all. If I continue to use pretty much all of them every week I may still lose weight, but it’s gonna take longer. And I don’t want it to take longer. So I’m gonna try my hardest not to dip into them. I wanna be done with losing and move on to maintaining!
