			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My 2nd post here should be full of excitement and &#8216;yay!  I did good!&#8217;.  Not so much&#8230;.but that&#8217;s why I even started writing here in the first place.</p>
<p>Yesterday went great - until around 8pm.  I was OP, spent 55 min doing cardio on the treadmill, had dinner around 7:30 and was at zero points.  Then&#8230;THEN!  I had a slice of pizza, 2 chocolate chip cookies and some ice cream.</p>
<p>Oops?  Nah, I knew what I was doing.  And honestly, I was &#8216;aware&#8217;, if you know what I mean.  Which means I didn&#8217;t continue eating after one bowl of ice cream&#8230;.that&#8217;s a success for me.  May seem odd, but stopping myself has always been a problem.  I managed that - I just need to work on not starting with the eating. </p>
<p>I&#8217;m working hard on being objective about this today - I realize that the biggest problem was that I had that food in my house.  It will be gone tonight.  (My 12 year old will take care of that for me.)  I believe that if I didn&#8217;t have those options, I wouldn&#8217;t have eaten anything. </p>
<p>All I can worry about is today and how I do.  I&#8217;ve already done my work out (60 min of a Bodypump class) and I&#8217;ve had 2 scrambled eggs with asparagus &amp; coffee&#8230;.I counted it at 5 pts.  I have lunch out with friends and a wine tasting tonight, but I&#8217;ll make it thru this.  Lunch with friends is about the friends, not the lunch.  The wine tasting is about meeting some new people and not about the food that is served.  I can do this. </p>

<p> I&#8217;m very excited to be here starting a blog on this community.  I&#8217;ve lurked and have been struck by how supportive everyone is.  I look forward to continuing my weight loss journey here!</p>
<p> I started my weight loss journey in August of 2005.  I weighed in at my first WW mtg at 254.  I had never in my life weighed in at more than 20lbs overweight.  I always hovered around 150 lbs.  My marriage and subsequent divorce led me into a spiral where I used food to make myself feel better.</p>
<p> I&#8217;ve lost 55 lbs using weight watchers but have hit a horrible plateau that has lasted for month - almost a year, actually!</p>
<p> So I&#8217;m going to write here as a way to hold myself accountable for my actions.  That main action being what I put in my mouth!  I&#8217;ve got the excercise thing down flat (6 days per week), I drink my water, I eat my vegetables&#8230;.but I don&#8217;t stop eating there. </p>
<p> So it&#8217;s about time for me.  About time to make that minute by minute decision to take care of myself.  I will journal my food here and post my weekly weigh in numbers starting next Monday.  I am very excited about this new journey!</p>
