Well, I have been doing ok since my last post Wednesday. Not great but ok. The scale reading this morning was 133. I must get that down. I know that I am not going to be 125 by March 22, but I hope to at least be in the 120s. I am determined to do this. Here is my tentative menu for today:
Grits-Core
94% FF Popcorn-Core
Meatloaf Sanwich made with Light Bread-Core + 1FP
*I am going out for supper tonight with some friends from high school. I plan to have a light salad of some sort.

Well, I am posting because I just haven’t been doing that well. I am getting completely back on track today though. I MUST do this. I set March 22 as the date for me to at my goal of 125, and I know I can still do this! Here is a quick menu for today, and I am sticking to it!
Grits-Core
Orange-Core
Chicken Salad made with FF mayo on light bread-Core + 1 FP
94% FF Popcorn-Core
Supper (Not sure what but it WILL be something Core!)
My husband is also gone this week. He will be back next Monday. He is having drill camp, so since it’s just me and Ashlyn I really haven’t been feeling like cooking. This has been a downfall for me because I have just been eating what I want. But I am going to compelte today on track! I will be back tonight to let you know how I did.

Well, I weighed in at my meeting this evening, and I was down 2.4 from last week! I was so excited. I weighed in at 132.0, and since it was in the evening I figured it would be a little higher. I think the Core is working! I have to keeo working hard though to make my goal weight of 125 by March 22!

Well, I did well yesterday. I did use about 5 flex points, but my goal for today is to use 3 or under. I didn’t get in all my water because I left my water bottle at home, so I must drink more today. Here is my tentative menu for today.
Grits-Core
Coffee with Cream - 1 FP
Banana-Core
Light Chicken Salad (made with FF mayo) on lettuce-Core
94% FF Popcorn- COre
*Sausage and Rice Casserole-Core
Corn-Core
* I will posting this recipe soon. It is so good. I make it with Lean Turkey sausage that is 95% FF and brown rice. It is soooo good and it’s on core! If I can make it through the day just eating this it will be great because I will have just 1 flex point! I will post tonight to let you know how I have done.
UPDATE: I didn’t follow my menu exactly, but pretty close. I used about 3 flex points that weren’t on the menu, but that is it. I used 1 on a couple of Funyuns and 2 on pretzels. I didn’t get to drink my coffee this morning so I saved a point there. Oh, also a quick questions: Pretzels aren’t a core food are they?

Well, I started to the Core today, and I did well I think. I did use about 5 flex points though, which I didn’t plan to do, but oh well. I think the only problem I might have is snack food. I really don’t know what I will eat for a snack (I don’t like yogurt or much fruit), so if you have any ideas please let me know. The scale was down today which is good, and Allison and I have set a date of MArch 22 to reach our goal of 125. Hope you all had a great weekend; back to the routine tomorrow!

Well, I have finally decided to switch to core. I really think it will boost my weight loss so I can lose these last few pounds. Since, I am new to this, if there are any of you core people out there, I would love some ideas on the foods that you snack on and meals that you make. I am going grocery shopping tonight to stock up, so any ideas that you have please post a comment. Thanks so much!

Well, it has been a while, and yes, and fell of the Weight Watcher wagon. I just couldn’t get back on track, but I am happy to report that today I have been on track, and I feel that my will power/self control is back. It feels great! I also revamped an old recipe of my MIL’s to make it WW friendly. It was GREAT, AND my husband loved it so it is definitely going into the rotation. I am going to post it under my Recipes page. I am back up to 135 since my crazy eating. I am going to weigh in tomorrow, so I can face the damage and keep on going! Here is my meny for today. I also plan to run a mile on the tread mill when I get home from church tonight.

Well, I really hate to even write this post, but I must. After making lifetime last week I have completely lost my mind! I have not journaled or kept up with points since SUNDAY!!!!! And, the scale shows it! The scale was up from 130 to 135.2 this morning!!!! I am so depressed about it, but I must get over this and get back on track. It all started on Sunday, when I went off track, but usually I just get back on track on Monday after a not so good weekend. I had good intentions, but to forgot to pack my lunch, and for some reason I thought that gave me the OK to eat whatever I wanted. I am totally bummed out about this week, but I must move on!!!! I knew if I confessed this bad behavior it would give me some incentive to do better, so I had to confess. Alright, well, I am off to do some cleaning now. I WILL be back tomorrow to let you know how GREAT my day went, and my food table. Thanks for listening!

I made lifetime Thursday! I weighed in at 131.0. My Weight Watcher goal is 134, but my personal goal is 125, so I do still have 6 pounds that I would like to lose. But I am so glad that I finally made lifetime!!
