Who Am I?
I use to know who I was. But choices in my life…things I chose and things I did not…changed me into someone I do not know. Now I am trying to become someone I want to be. I am a person who takes action in my community. I am working on getting a law passed here in Fl. I am a person who takes chances when I feel that I need to. I am a person who learned to love and to be loved. I also learned how to be a mother and a mom. I also learned to stand up for myself. Now I want to put the finishing touches on who I want to be. I am not looking to be a size 2 and a super model. I want to be healthy and in the correct weight range for my age and height. I am 5′4″ and 34 years old. I should way around 130 - 135…that is when I looked really great. On this day 7-3-07 I weigh 193. I use to weight 205. I have alot of hobbies: I love to crochet! I am self taught and I am totally addicted to it. I love to do plastic canvas also. It was my ex-father-in-law who taught me how to do this. Yes he is a man who likes to do crafts. I am learning cross stitch at the moment. I love to READ! I also love to bake. I make my own bread for my family. I have not bought a loaf of bread in 8 months. My husband and I are both sailors. We are in the process of trying to sell our home so that we can buy a sailboat to live on with our four kids. The plan is to sail around the world in about 4 years. Yes…with the kids.Another fact about my family…we are TV free. I turend the cable off over a year ago. We will watch movies that we buy, but we don’t have any form of cable or public TV in the house. We all went through withdrawl for a about a week. But everyone got over it. We now have time to read, do crafts, and spend family time together. We love it!!!So that is a little bit about me. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone in this great community.Loving Each Day!

Are those your horses?? I am jealous- you riding a horse on the beach! Seeing this picture made me miss the beach even more. I live in landlocked Iowa…but my family is in Florida and the best vacations are always there. I could stay on the beach all day.

Thanks for the support. I am also TV free! I commend you on that and your efforts to become healthy! Love the horses–and I am so jealous of the sailboat idea. I am sick of living in a city!
