We have been invited to a friend’s home on Monday for food and football.  I have been informed it will NOT be diet friendly.  LOL  So I know Monday I afternoon I will not be watching what I eat.  Which is fine with me.

Today went very well.  Mom is here for the night.  We got things tagged for the yard sale that we are having next week.  Hubby and I went to the book store tonight…out favorite place to hang out!  :)  Mom is going home sometime tomorrow morning.  Hubby and I will play Racquet Ball tomorrow also.  I can’t wait to get on the court.  It feels like it has been forever.

I have been asked what I eat when I eat low carb.  Eating low carb does not hurt you like so many people think it does.  Eating low carb means that I cut out white flour and sugars.  I eat lean meats only.   I eat alot of green veggies.  I love asparagus!  I eat Beacon one in a great while….loaded with fat.  I eat Strawberries and apples.  I love Melons!  :)   I snack on cheese through out the day.  Cheese has always been a favorite of mine since I was a kid.   I usually drink an Atkins Royal Chocolate Shake in the morning.  This way I get my Chocolate in.   ;)   I find that I am not that hungry anymore.  So I don’t always snack in between meals every day.  No…I don’t find myself eating more at dinner if I don’t snack.  I have some great very low carb menus.  When I have the time I will post some.

What a day we had at Universal.  Hubby figures that we walked about 10 miles…but we climbed these rob things for a good an hour.  (That brought back memoreis of doing drill in the military to both of us.  I was Air Force he is a reitred Major with the USMC.)  The 3 of us had a blast though.  Our oldest son is 13 now.  Wow!  Time does fly.  The park was empty yesterday.  We never waited for more then 5 mins, to get on any rides.  We got there at 8:30 when they opend the park.  We went a two different roller coasters and we were the only ones on it!  It felt like we had a personal day at the park.

I did very well with my eating yesterday also.  I had a huge Chicken salad.  Hubby finished it for me.  :)   I did however a small corn muffin and some Dots Ice Cream.  I don’t feel bad about eating these carb heavy foods…not with all the walking and climbing I did.  I did have a piece of birthday cake when we got home also. 

I stepped on the scale and I am still 182!  :)   YEAH!  No gain!  Today I am right back on track.  My mom is coming over with al her items for a yard sale.  We are getting this together this weekend and next weekend we are having a huge yard sale.  When I was working as a web designer at a college and then teaching web design at another college I had a lot of skirts.  One of my favorite things to wear.  Well…I went through my closet to find that I had over 200 skirts!  YES it is true!  I am selling over 100 of them at the yard sale.  I have skirts that are from designer to Old Navy!  I went through all my shoes also.  I have over 200 pairs of them.  I selling most of them also.  I don’t have alot of purses, but there are few that I am selling.  I thought my closet would look some what empty but it does not.  Hubby told me I need to get rid of more things…lol   I will at our next yard sale which will be when we have sold this house.  I can’t take all these clothes on a sailboat with me…no room.

Well…I have to get cleaning and then I have to get things taged for the sale.

I am set for our day at Universal’s Islands of Adventures.  My son can not wait to go.  I can not believe that he is going to be 13 tomorrow.    A teenager!!   Time did go by fast.  I took him shopping today.  I usually buy clothes for the kids but he is really picky about things.  So I though it would be easier just to take him with me.  I think he enjoyed the one on one time with me.  (the other kids are at grandma’s until tomorrow night)  While we were at the mall I let him have his first frozen coffee drink.  I took 4 small sips and that is all.  It had alot of not friendly low carb to it.  I don’t let the kids have coffee at all…but I let him have this just this once.  Something special you know.  He drank a little more then half, then he felt full.   LOL

Hubby is took one of the guys to dinner tonight.  So I have no idea when he will get home.  Which means no Racquet Ball again.  :(  

I did very well today with eating.  I stayed right on track.  I am all set for tomorrow.  There is a resturant there that is low carb…they advertist that also.  So we are going to be eating there.  I don’t snack anymore between meals.  For some reason I just stopped doing that.  I find that I am not hungry between meals anymore.  So I am not worried about eating foods that I should not.  BUT….tomorrow night I will have piece of the Chocolate Cake that I got today for his B-day Party.  That I am not passing up.  It will be a small piece…but I am having it!

Yes that is right.  I stepped on the scale to find that I lost another pound.  I am now 182!!!   :)     YEAH!  

Today I have to take three of the kids to my moms.  She will being them back tomorrow night at 7pm.  Tomorrow e are hubby and I are taking our oldest son (who is 13 tomorrow….good lord a teenager in the house) to Universal’s Islands of Adventures.  The 3 of us are looking forward to roller coaster rides.  We will have a cake for him when we get home.

I have do a bit of shopping after I drop everyone off.  Need to get things for tomorrow night and Friday.  Hubby’s truck is going in for new brakes so that means that he has to use my truck.  I am a Ford F-150 full cab girl.  I actaully have a ford luxury truck which I love!

Ok…well I am off to get myself ready.  The kids are still sleeping so I want to take advantage of that!

I couldn’t stop eating yesterday.  TOM is 11 days earlly and it was really rough on me.  I felt tired, down, and starved.  I did eat all low cal except for the half bag of grapes I ate.  I thought for sure I would be a pound up. (I had gained two from the weekend.  One being water the other being a actually pound)  I stepped on the scale and it is 183!  I back to what I was before the weekend!  :)    YEAH!  

I am doing ok today.  I feel better that is for sure.  I went to bed at 9:30pm.  I woke up just as a the Lunar Eclipse started.  Hubby and I had an excellent view right from our bed.  Or bed is right up against the picture window in our bedroom, which over looks the lake.  The bed is kid of high (pillow top) so we don’t have a head board.  The bed comes right up to the windowsill.  We have a king size bed and the window is the same lenght as the bed.  So it works out really nice.  Well anyways….we got to watch the whole show.  It was really cool to lay together and watch.  He left for work after it was done and I feel back to sleep.  I finally got up at 8:00 am. 

Not much going on today.  Hubby may have to work late again since he is taking Thursday and Friday off.  If he does we won’t be able to play Racquet Ball.  He has some personal things to do on Friday so if we can’t play tonight or tomorrow night we won’t play until Saturday morning.

Well…I am going to get myself dressed and start this day.  The kids are all still sleeping which is nice.

I don’t know what it is today.  I am not bord or anything, but I am hungry and can’t seem to get myself satisfied.  I think it is because TOM just showed up….11 days earlly also!  I think that is why I am feeling the way I am.  I am a bit down also.  I am well entertained here at home but I am just feel off.  I hate it when TOM shows up earlly.  When this happens it seems to through my whole body off.

Hubby is going to work late tonight.  He is taking Thursday and Friday and off.  So we are not going to play Racquet Ball tonight.  Which is find by me.  With only 5 and half hours of sleep last night I am really tired.

Well…I think I have finally beaten the hunger.  I have eaten alot but I have eaten all low carb to stick with my eating habits.  So I am hopping that this will not hurt me.

I always love the start of a new week.  I love the idea of not knowing what this week will bring and what shall happen.  The only thing that I know that is going to happen…is my sons birthday which is on Thursday.  I know what we will be doing that day also.  Oh wait…I also know on Wed. I am making a trip to Deland to drop the other three kids off at my moms.  But as for the rest of the week who knows….

I didn’t get alot of sleep last night.  I got about 5 and half hours, so did hubby.  I guess we just weren’t tired.  We did play Racquet Ball yesterday afternoon as we planed.  We played 4 games.  He won 2 and I won 2.  We couldn’t play a 5th…it was just way too hot!  We did have fun though and that is what really matters.  I ate very well yesterday!  I am showing a 1 pound gain and that is all.  :)   That will be gone by Wed.

I don’t have alot to do today.  The house is clean and laundry is done.  I do have to make a run to the store for Milk, but other then that, nothing.  I am looking forward to staying home today and doing a few crafts.  I do need to start creating lessons plans for this school year.  Home school for us starts on Sept. 5th.

Yesterday I had a plan of action in mind for eating while we were in St. Augustine.  Yeah…I threw it in the garbage bin outside the resturant.  Literlly!  I decided I was worth the fun and not the worrying for the day.  So I had Fried Clams and Hush Puppies for lunch.  Then a Waffel Bowl with Chocolate Fudge Ice Cream.  After we shopped…spent most of our money at the Winery and the used book store…love old books, we headed back to Orlando and went for Mexican.  I ate what I wanted and enjoyed it.  The scale says I am up two pounds from yesterday.  I am sure it is really only one and the other pound is water because of all the salt. 

So….

Today hubby and I are playing Racquet Ball at 3…it will be cooler on the court at that time.  I plan on eating right today.  I have a couple of stores I want to go to this morning.  Plus I do have laundry to take care of.  The kids will be home around 7:30 pm tonight.  So I think I am all set to do what I need to do today.

Things went well last night with eating out with the family.  I stayed right on track.  :)   I am finding it easier and eaiser to stay on track now.   I love that!

With family gone and the kids at their dads, hubby and I are going to St. Augustine today.  I love this old city.  There is so much to see and do.  Hubby is looking forward to the winery.  He loves the free tour…and loves their port wine.  (Of course you get to do alot of free sampling on the tour)  ;)     I am looking forward going into the great shops and having lunch on the water.  We decided last night to back an over night back just ine case we decided to get a hotel room in the old city and stay the night.  I am planning on staying on track today.  I want to to take full advantage with all the walking we will be doing.

As planned we are off to Universal’s Island Of Adventure.  Our son chose that because he loves roller coaster.  I do to also…hubby on the other hand…said he would go on but is not thrilled.  I keep reminding him that he is a retired Major with the USMC…graduated from the US Naval Acdemy.  If he can do that then he can handle some roller coasters.  He is such a big baby  ;)    I love him though.

Ok…well I am off to get myself ready.  It is an hour and a half drive.  I hope everyone has a great weekend!
