I did it!

I did it! The first real exercise I’ve had in MONTHS! I walked outside in the glorious sunshine for about 20-25 minutes. Now, I could totally have done more but I’m trying to be a good girl and not push myself too hard so as to not set myself back for a THIRD time. So while it was kind of lame to have to limit myself, I’m super happy I got to go out at all! I sure hope the good weather continues so I can continue on with my walks. I’ve just felt so blah lately - but I don’t want to focus on the negative stuff because I am going to have positive experiences from here on out. I had a bit of a pity party for myself last night and laying in bed, it just clicked - I don’t want to feel this way anymore. I might be limited due to my back but that doesn’t mean I have to give up completely. I am going to stay OP, I am going to track everyday - even if I do get off track and go overboard (which hopefully won’t happen too often) and I am going to moderately exercise so that I can build up my strength and endurance to be able to exercise on a level comparable to what I use to do! So I’m going to make it happen - my New Year’s resolution was that I was going to have a POSITIVE year - positive choices, positive activities, positive people, positive attitude. And it started today!
And here is the beauty of being a part of a community - support! I don’t necessarily have anyone here (in Austin) that I can count on to help keep me accountable. Not that I need someone to check up on me everyday, but knowing that there are people out there, reading my journey and only wishing the best for me, keeps me accountable and that’s HUGE. So thank you to anyone and everyone who might read this blog because trust me, even when people don’t leave comments, knowing my blog has been viewed is support enough for me and I thank yall for that!

This commumity is sooooo helpful, isn’t it? I’m having my first real success at weight loss ever, and it is due to this blogging community. I’ve got your back, and you’ve got mine. Literally! Hurt my back a few weeks ago, which makes exercise and everything more of a challenge…but like you, I refuse to take it sitting down! Keep moving. I will too. Thanks for a great, motivating post on your blog.
