It seems there’s something wrong over at Blog to Lose, so I’m posting this here instead. Guess it’s nice to have a backup plan, eh? I’d planned to get up and work out so I could earn some extra APs for tonight’s book club meeting. Well, I must have been exhausted, because I didn’t get up […]

Come Thanksgiving time, I’m going to be an aunt … and I want to be a healthy one!
I’ve read a lot of blogs that say “I got healthy for my kids.” Since I don’t have any, I’ll use my brother’s impending arrival as an extra push to reach that weight-loss goal. I have about 57 […]

I managed to sneak in some activity, but the eating was totally out of control … again. And after I reached that whole “I have a choice” epiphany Thursday night, too! I had a choice, alright, and it was to eat all the bad food I could get my hands on.

Well, I’d planned to hit the gym for a nice, long workout Thursday morning … but when I got there, I realized I actually had a massage scheduled for about 30 minutes later. That means it was a quickie workout instead: Just 12 minutes on the treadmill (but at a high incline and fast speed […]

Lucky for me, it’s not something I care to find!

I’m having a much better day […]

Dairy Queen is a diet disaster. It’s another case of “should have checked before I went.”
I thought I wouldn’t be doing too much damage by having a Dilly Bar, but that little Dilly Bar weighs in at 5 WW Points. The no-sugar added one is nearly as bad, with 4 of the things, and a […]

Being busy got the best of me again Saturday. I got a lot of things done — such as the oil change I’ve been putting off for about 3,000 miles! — but all the running around did nothing for my exercise time. I barely logged 8,500 steps on the pedometer … so there’s no way […]

I think it was Scottish poet Robert Burns who first wrote “The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry” … or something to that effect. (It was in some weird Scottish dialect, if I recall.)
That’s what happened to me Tuesday. You may recall I planned to stick to Core all week. Unfortunately, life […]
