An OK day

I felt awful today, so I called in sick to work. It was funny, because I made myself go to the gym (25 minutes on the treadmill) before I got my bangs trimmed … and I packed a lunch and everything, then decided I just wasn’t going to make it through the night. Took a nap instead, then went to a treasure-mapping workshop. Made a collage to help me stay motivated to make the choices I need to make to reach and maintain my 160-pound weight goal.

The good news is, since I’ve been sick all day, I haven’t eaten a whole lot. I started a new Tracker today, and decided to try Flex again instead of Core. (I’m having trouble with Core … when I eat several of my WPAs in one day, I’ve been throwing the rest of the day out the window. Perhaps Flex will help me keep things under control.

But as of 10 p.m., I’d only eaten 20 1/2 of my allotted 28 Points. So I had a caramel apple WW muffin and a glass of milk for 5 more Points, bringing my total to 25 1/2 for the day. I’m not going to sweat the few extras, since I ate too much last night.

My column for tomorrow is all about healthy choices. When I get to work, I’ll find a link to it. It’s also part of my attempt to motivate myself.
