Am I becoming a gym rat?

OK, probably not. I’d have to enjoy the gym a lot more than I do for that to happen!

However, I did spend an hour at the gym yesterday — 21 minutes on the elliptical trainer, 15 doing weights and abs and 25 on the treadmill. It was the fifth day I’d been to the gym for the week, and on one of the two other days, I spent a half hour outside, walking the dogs.

The nice thing about it was that, with all that working out, reaching my step goal of 10,250 a day, plus. And it was fairly effortless. Guess that just goes to show that moving more really isn’t so tough after all.

We’ll see if the exercising balanced out the bad eating when I go to my weigh-in later today. My fingers are crossed!

  1. Good Job on the gym and the walking…I really need to start working on my strength training…that’s part of my AAC for sure. I may have to ask for some tips when I get going…starting with push ups…and then I will have to find my way around the free weights…so scary for me :) Keep up the hard work!!
