It’s been a while
The last couple of days have been up and down. Down as in, I ate way too many Cheez-its and cookies Thursday because I was stuck in a boring meeting with nothing to do but nod off or munch. Up as in I stuck to plan Friday, then down as in I tossed the plan out the window and ate Mexican for lunch and Outback for dinner Saturday. (And yes, I ate the cheese fries. I couldn’t help myself. At least it was only a half-order!)
But you know something? I felt like total crap when I got home from the Outback. (I suppose the DQ dilly bar and packet of chocolate-covered donuts from the vending machine at work didn’t do me any favors, either.) Guess that means I won’t be doing that again. (Well, a girl can dream, can’t she?)
I also have been to the gym three times, twice on Thursday and once on Saturday, and I’m headed there as soon as I leave the office today. I’m on track to finally meet my step goal of 10,250 a day this week … I knew the third attempt would be a charm.
And I just signed up for Ronji’s April activity challenge. My goal is to work out more consistently (at least 30 minutes a day three times a week, including at least once on the weekend). As it stands now, I tend to work out like a fiend one week, then take most of the next week off. I know that’s not the best way to do things.
I’m even looking forward to Monday’s weigh-in. Seems like it’ll be a good one, despite my two off days. After all, sometimes I have three or four “off” days … all at the end of the week. It’ll be interesting to see what’s going on.
