The good news just keeps on coming

Monday has been a good day. It was one of those days when everything went right, for a change! Here are the highlights:
- Despite last week’s late-night munchie addiction, I managed to post a loss at Monday’s weigh-in. (Down 2 pounds, for a total of 26.6 pound since I joined WW at the end of August 2007.) Hooray!
- I made a long-term commitment to WW by pre-paying for 10 meetings. (That tax refund is coming in handy again!)
- I stayed on-plan all day — and ate all three meals at home. I did have 25 jellybeans from one of the three bowls full someone was kind enough to leave in our break room … but I don’t even think that’s a full serving, so it shouldn’t have that many Points.
- I’ve noticed in the last few days that my collarbones are really starting to show again. I almost lost them again there for a while, but they’re back!
- I spent an hour working out: 25 on the treadmill, 15 on the elliptical and 20 on weights (and abs). Whew! I really worked up a sweat.
I need more good days like this. If the article Roni linked to in her post for the night is to be believed, it’s up to me. If “attitude, thinking, self-control, mind-set and ultimately, decisions” determine whether we’ll lose weight, all I need to do is keep making the decisions that will get me where I want to go.
It’s so easy to say … but will it eventually become just as easy to do? I sure hope so!
You’re doing great!!! 26 lbs since August is so awesome and you’re losing it at a great pace - that makes it so much easier to maintain!!
That is awesome!! Something definately to be proud of!
