A Lazy Day

Sunday wasn’t the best day ever. In addition to eating a good salad with bad dressing, I also didn’t get to the gym.

Oh, I’d intended to work out. I set my alarm for 10 a.m. — but I slept straight through it and didn’t wake up until 12:30. Since I wanted to be at work by 1 p.m., there was no way I was going to have time to hit the gym.

I did, however, lap Wal-Mart twice before I stopped at the Subway inside it for a six-inch turkey sub and baked chips for dinner. I guess it’s something, anyway. I even reached my step goal (an average of 10,000 a day this week), even though I was worried I wouldn’t.

Thank goodness I was able to find a step equivalent for 45 minutes of Pilates. That’s what put me over the top.
