First off, welcome welcome welcome. I love this place. It has helped me tremendously!!! I started at 267 and am currently at 233. I started changing the way I eat and adding exercise in Jan. I have three kiddos (the youngest being 7 months). I have been overweight for most of my life (with the exception of my Navy days where I was at 170). So that is my goal and for the first time in the last 7 years I REALLY think I can do it!!! I started truly noticing my weight loss at about 15 pounds. My pants, which were always tight because I never wanted to acknowledge I was gaining weight, started to feel loose. So I went out and purchased some new ones from Old Navy. And this month, after I hit 30 lbs GONE, I actually had to put some of those new pants into the recycle bin. Yep....they were too big! So what I did, is I went out and shpped the sales and got an XL size cropped jogging pants. Those are my next goal. THey fit now, but the are literally skin tight. I am trying not to be a slave to my scale...I was weighing every day it felt like, so now I restrict myself to once a week...and boy is that hard. But I feel less manic about it now and can focus on creating a healthy relationship w/ food and changing how I eat forever and not just while on the scale you know? And I also had to buy some regular tshirt cause the ones I had were, (joyful glee) tee-hee, too big. THey looked like preggo shirts!!! And I ALMOST fit in a regular xl. almost! I will be so happy when I can get out of the big womans sizes and into the regulars!!! ANyway, I ramble. Stop by and take a look at my site...keep in touch and I will too. Goodluck!!!
