Down 1 Pound!

I’ve had the urge to blog today so here I am. I’ve had a fantastic week and enjoyed some weekly allowance points last night. WH and I haven’t been eating out recently in order to save a few dollars and a few pounds. With him being gone last weekend we decided to splurge a little and go out. I got a southwest type salad and it was so wonderful. Ask my husband… there wasn’t a morsel of food left in my plate. I couldn’t control myself- it was sooo good! It was worth every point. I also got some chocolate candy. Oh so yummy. But today I’m pleased to say I’m undeterred! Onward and upward I go!
I stayed home alone all weekend but got so much done! I walked Fri., Sat., and Sun., went to a “renegade” 10 year class reunion, mowed the lawn, washed the dog, did laundry, and spent some quality time with a friend by the pool. So I got in 9 miles of walking and a sunburn! Overall it was a great weekend. I wish I had more opportunities for weekends like that. However, I am glad that WH is back! I’m still eating well and staying on track. My eye is on the prize… a new 2 piece swim suit for our Labor Day beach weekend! I’m well on my way! (c; The tan helps, too!
I lost 3 pounds this week and found a great inexpensive produce market! Yeah!
Okay, so actually it was yesterday, but I didn’t have time to post. The good news is I’m 37 pounds lighter than I was about 1 year ago. The bad news is that six months ago it was more like 52 pounds lighter! I’ve gained about 15 pounds over the past 6 months, but I’m working hard on losing it and even more! My new goal is to weigh in at 150 pounds. I know I can do it! I started leading my WW class, and I’ll be weighing in right along with them. Here’s to another wonderful, successful year on Weight Watchers!
Let’s just say the hubby are in the midst of some very stressful times. I won’t get into the details, but holy cow! Like he always says, when we do, we do BIG! Why do we make our lives so crazy? I guess we only live once and we want to make sure we leave a mark! Let’s just hope all this stress doesn’t leave it’s mark on my behind! If you didn’t already know, I’m an emotional eater. Stress=eat. That’s been my M.O. for many years. I’ll be doing all that I can to make sure that doesn’t happen this time around.
