I Made Lifetime!
9 01 2008At WI Last night I met the requirements for Weight Watchers Lifetime Membership! I can’t believe it! I still have a few more pounds I’d like to drop, but I’m in no hurry. I wanted my goal weight for Weight Watchers (160 lbs) to be realistic for me. Being that I’ve never been this size/weight before (except for maybe when I was 8 years old) I figured setting my goal on the high end would be the best option for me. I’m glad I did, being that my body is reacting to the weight loss in a somewhat negative manner. (If you haven’t read previous entries, I’ve been fainting due to low blood pressure. My body is still trying to readjust to the new body!) So this is good. I can maintain here for a little while until things settle down, but I won’t have to pay for the meetings anymore. Yipee! I did it!
Thanks to those of you who commented on yesterday’s post. I really appreciate your support. What a wonderful community of people!

Congratuations!!!!! You must be over the top excited! I personally think it is a good thing not to set an unrealistic goal. I also believe after a period of time (and I’m sure that is different for each of us just like everything else) that you have a body comfortable weight and trying to get below that and maintaining that is really, really hard. Not that the whole maintenance thing is easy, it is just a continuation of what you have accomplished and all part of that change in “life style”. Keep up the good work.
Congratulations! What a wonderful achievement! May the pounds be gone FOREVER! Best wishes - Barbi
Woohoo! Way to go! I’m glad that you made it to life time and that you’re happy with your progress despite some of the difficulty you’ve had. Listening to your body and maintaining sounds wonderful! I’m so excited for you, I hope you celebrate with something special for yourself. You deserve it!
Congrats on making lifetime thats wonderful news that brightened up my day. I love finding out that people have met their goals, it makes me want to try even harder to reach mine. I hope you enjoy your new body and go out and do something special to celebrate yourself.
ps thanks for the comment on my page
Good for you! You deserve it! Especially after your emotional insanity… You should be proud!!!
Take care of you!
Wow! Lifetime! That is so wonderful. It’s so great to hear of people who overcome the struggles and reach their goal. Sometimes I feel like I’ll never reach my goal of 146 (I haven’t weight that since I was 14!) but when I see other people making it, I feel so encouraged. If you can reach this goal, just imagine what others you can achieve!
Congratulations!!!
