Please Grant Me Patience…

…to stick this out. I forgot how slow this losing weight process can be. But I’m still being mindful and trying to be active. The numbers on average are moving downwards, but it’s such a s l o w process. One day at a time. That’s how I did it before when I was successful, and that’s how I’ll keep doing it. Maybe I’ll be back at my lowest weight by Christmas- exactly when I did it last year! (c: That would be okay. I just want to be healthy and happy.



Down 2 Pounds!

Yeah! That feels good. Now I’ve just got to keep the ball rolling. That seems to be the hard part. I’m starting to see some of my good habits popping back up and feeling more natural again. For instance, Sun. morning I was poking around the house trying to think of something to do and decided to go for a 3 mile walk, mow the lawn, clean the showers, vacuum the house, do laundry, cook dinner, and clean the kitchen. Once I got moving, I kept on. I was so exhausted by the end of the day but it was so great to not just sit down next to WH and veg in front of the TV and watch the Olympics all day long. I’ve also noticed my eating out behaviors have greatly improved. Hopefully this stuff will stick and I can keep it up!



-100 Pounds!

No, I’m not talking about me personally, but the WW class that I lead has just lost a total of 100 pounds in 9 weeks! This is so awesome and I’m so proud of all their hard work. We’re totally going to party next week with low point food fun! I’m so inspired and motivated by all their hard work!

A long binge… Uggg. I’ve got to do some major damage control here. The weight is now climbing on rapidly and I’ve got to stop the train!



Are We Back In The Groove?

I think so! Badda bing badda boom, another great day OP. This weekend we’ve got the b-day party, no fear- I’ve got Hewbrew National 1Pt hot dogs for me and my friends that are on WW or just watching their weight! However, I’ll be using some weekly points on Smirnoff and cake. (c: It feels so good to be back in the swing of things. I WI last night at my WW meeting, and I didn’t like the number, 174 lbs, but I know that’s down from about a week ago. I know one day at a time will get that number down so I’m not going to be discouraged by it!

Yesterday was again, great. With the planning of WH 30th birthday party, being in control of my eating has helped me stay in control, feel great, and have the energy to get all the things I want completed, done. Here’s to another great OP day!

I FINALLY had a DAY OP! Wow, did it feel good. Now I just need to string a bunch of these together. I’ve organized my food and I’m writing it all down. I just have to get myself back on track and keep up the momentum!

Okay, starting this morning I’m back on track. I WILL stay on track. I over-did it a bit at lunch, but not all is lost. I need to go grocery shopping before I head home. One. Day. At. A. Time.



Needing Some Direction

Okay, so I need some direction. I made my WW group make goals for themselves a few weeks back and I didn’t. But I know I need goals and something to work towards. This playing by ear stuff is making me fat again.

  1. It’s week 5 of 12 weeks. I will lose 12 pounds before the series is over.
  2. I will walk 3 days this week.
  3. I will close the kitchen after dinner and ONE WW friendly dessert.
  4. I will not purchase snacks at work.
  5. I will eat out only once a week for lunch.
