Having one of those…..

I’m not hungry days.  And believe me they don’t come around very often.  But I’ve had a bowl of soup and that’s it today and probably finish off the night with a bowl of cereal.   I’ve not had an appetite the last couple of days.  I seem to go through a roller coaster each month and usually one week I’m eating everything in sight and the other 3 I do a lot better.  Plus part of maintenance is figuring out what works for you.  So my portions and ideas about food have changed and although I haven’t conquered them I’m trying my best to pay attention.  So in all, its a good thing–really, I’m not complaining…..

And you know what’s funny about paying attention to it all—-my next post will be about me eating the entire pantry dry…..

I’m Still here….

Just keeping up with a 11 month old who cut 3 teeth in 4 days and keeping a 3 year old occupied. Excuses, Excuses..huh! Well maybe but here I am. So, I’ve done a horrible job at getting to the gym, but have done a WONDERFUL job with my diet. I’m happy to report only one big binge last week–on what you ask??? You got it PIZZA and Chicken Wings. Mostly due to the cold weather and nothing in the house to eat, my husband and I broke down and ordered out. Other than that I’ve done great with 6 small meals/snacks and my water.

Just not making it to the Gym right now…..But I have discovered my love for my cable tv’s On Demand Exercise channel. It has everything from weight training to yoga to abs. I’ve been doing the abs a bunch. The others I need to explore a bit more. But its really great on those cold days when you don’t want to get the babies out.

Also, Tennis starts for me this week. I’ll play doubles on Wed. nights and Singles on Sat. mornings. This has become my favorite kind of work out, I haven’t played singles since high school so we’ll see!

Now I’m off to read about all of you!!

WI yesterday!!! 159.4lbs

I’ve officially been at my goal weight 162 or under for 4 months. Or should I say under goal at every Weigh In. On my own personal scales I was up to 164ish, but at every weigh in its been good!! Yesterday morning I could not wait to get on the scale at my meeting. I’ve been going about 2 times a month and each time I’ve been below goal weight. So yesterday when I walked into a packed room full of eager newbies, it felt so good! I know how they feel and the air in the room was very motivating!

On another note, my workouts have down right SUCKED!(sorry) but I can’t get my ARS to the GYM!! I’ve gone for two park runs/walks this week, but I’m just not getting to the actual gym like usual. At least I’m moving right….Right!

So with my 3 year old running 100 temp and my 11 month old napping I’ll get some house cleaning done and get ready for our first weekend home in 3 weeks. Gym and Football are at the top of my list!! Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Go COWBOYS!!!!!

Low Key Day…

No Gym, No activity, Nothing special and I like it!

I planned all day on getting to the gym and just never made it.  Even my 3 year old came up to me at 7:30pm and said, “Mommy when are we going to the gym”.  Well, I guess not since the daycare closes at 8pm.  And since my hubby is gone for the night on business I kinda just sat at my laptop and paid bills, edited holiday pictures, emailed friends and sold a few things on ebay and Craigslist.  So it was a somewhat productive day.  Did great on eating….we’ll see how WI goes in the morning!   Good Night 11:38pm is 3 hours past my bedtime….bad girl!

Activity-NADA!

So it’s finally over……

Parties, Shopping, Traveling, Eating, Christmas, Drinking, Socializing, Celebrating, Planning, Organizing, Anniversary, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Hangover’s, Christmas decorations, Entertaining, Best Friends 40th birthday celebration and Outside Decorations put away.

The biggest one off my list is the 4lbs I gained through all of this!  GONE!!!

So, I’ll attend my WW meeting on Thursday and I’m really looking forward to it!

I’m happy with that considering last Sunday I was at 164…hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saw this today in my Fitness mag. and i loved it:

So in 3 days I got somewhat back to normal.  Worked out today 30 min running/walking uphill on treadmill and abs.  I’ll go back tomorrow again.

Getting ready for the weekend. 3 of my best girlfriends will be in town to help celebrate one of them turning 40, the first of all of my friends.  I’ll try my hardest to stay op!  That’s  my goal.

As far as NY resolutions I just going to try and do my best at everything…I may get a list together soon…

My favorite holiday…

I decided today New Years Day is my favorite holiday.  Usually I’ve always said Christmas or July 4th, but really I love everything(minus the small hangover) about Jan. 1st.  I love the fresh start feeling, the re-focusing, and the goal setting.  I really want to make this a great year with my weight, my pocket book and my family.  I’ll set my goals in the morning as today we did nothing but play with the babies, watch football and nap.

Happy New Years Everyone!

Today was a great day…

I managed to make it to the gym for an hour and stay OP today. Today was the first time since I made Lifetime 3 months ago that I counted my points, and I LIKE IT! I think I thought I had it all down and knew how to get by with out counting, but was a little surprised to see the scale creep back up on me. So, yes it was a good day.

Other things I got done today..

-unpacked from week vacation, cleaned out toys to donated and make room for the new ones, stocked our pantry with plenty of healthy options, made a big batch of food for my 10month old, Played with my DD in her room(she loves it when I do this and I never seem to do it enough).

Great day, on to tomorrow!!

Hello to everyone!

After 5 or so months of reading your blogs, I’ve decided to join in the community. I need motivation and support so here I am on a Saturday night after a week of uncontrollable eating. I put on 4lbs in 1 week and am pretty disgusted with myself. So, I’m pumped to get my self back on track starting tomorrow. Not the first of the year, Tomorrow!!!

I have many holiday parties, my DD 3rd birthday celebration, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and a week long vacation at my parents house all behind me……….only my Anniversary and NYE to go before 2008 begins………..I need a positive ending to this great Year….
