It’s been awhile

Hello All!

 It has been awhile since I have posted anything. I work the internet retail business and we are swampped this time of year. I sure dont have time to post like I want to. I also have been eating what I want when I want, and that means…. NOT GOOD!  My plan is to just watch was eat from now til new years and then Jan 1st hit the gym and diet hard core. It will be a good new year’s resoultion. I wouldnt mind starting now, but i dont have the time or the motivation. I was off the last two nights from the gas station and I seriously sat on the couch and watched tv both night. which is something I NEVER do I am always moving around, cleaning something, moving something around or working on some house project.  So that goes to show you how tired I have been!

 I would like to delete my blog and start over… is that possible?

 Im not even gonna post a food journal. I ate sugar cereal for breakfast, now I am drinking coffee with FULL FAT creamer cuz thats all that is here!

The surgery went great!

Hello Everyone!  I am still alive. I had my LASIK surgery out of town on Tuesday, didn’t come home til Wednesday. I had alot of catching up to do at work on Thursday & Friday. So here I am! Making a quick post while doing a million other things at work.

The surgery went great! I see 20/20 now. No more glasses! Yipeeee. Just going through the healing progress now. I have to wear eye sheilds to bed so I don’t rub my eyes. 2 sets of Eye Drops 4 times a day. I do have some pretty RED marks on my eyes… Doctor called them hickies. lol

Onto the Diet Front… well that hasn’t been so well. The bf is gone to camp, I am at home all alone, and TOM is here… so that means no motivation to do anything, not even cook!

Chocolate is my best friend.

No food log today… I have a sub for lunch and supper that I made with lettuce, canadian bacon, some cheese spread and some vidalia onion dressing…. probably 15 points each!

I stupidly had some chips and dip last night…. oops! I would imagine thats where my increase from yesterday came! dummie me, Im trying… just not hard enough! I CAN DO IT!

TUESDAY I HAVE LASIK!!! I AM STARTING TO GET NERVOUS!!! 

Did okay yesterday til the king size candy bar! UGH! Oh well.. moving on and will do better today!

 I should be able to get my carpet down in the living room on sunday morning with the help of my brother and my dad… i can’t wait to show you all!

The bf should be finishing up the tile in the kitchen tonight…

Happy Thursday

I think I finally relaxed last night. I watched 2 episodes of Law & Order SVU, after I laid down more tile. I have done all the tile that doesnt have to be cut. The bf will have to finish the rest cuz I sure am not gonna take a chance in cutting them wrong!

It sure was nice to just sit and relax, since I never ever do! I am always doing something. I never sit still at home. This morning the vacuum was plugged so I was busy unclogging that!

Once I get my new carpet in, I probably should invest in a carpet steamer. Does anyone have one they realllllly like? I dont want to spend a ton on one, but I don’t want a cheap one either.

Hump Day

KitchenI laid some tile in the kitchen last night, boy does it look good . I can’t wait til its done! We will be re doing the walls and ceiling cuz of the water damage, but we already had bought the flooring so I figured I would get it down before Thanksgiving.

Living RoomI painted my living room last week it was a DARK brown and now its a sage green  and ripped out the old carpet.  I bought new carpet on sunday so I am just waiting to get the new stuff put down. I am doing it myself to save on some $$$. I also bought new interior doors and trim but of course the new doors are 2 inches to long so they need to be cut down, which means its gonnna take the bf even longer to do it! ugh! as long as the living room is done by xmas, i want it all done  when my parents come over…

I will post a photo of the whole living room once it is done.

House Projects

It really is amazing what a little paint can do! I’m so anxious to get the living room done. I had to special order a door with 15 panes of glass for the living room. I already bought a plain 6 panel door but I think one with glass would look better in the living room . You see the porch is not heated and we took the door off this past summer cuz it was ulgy… well now its 20 degrees and i have a blanket hanging over the door opening or the furnace would be running non stop.

Then we will have to start on the kitchen…. cuz of the water damage. we were planning on doing the kitchen at some point anyway …. just sooner than later now. I already bought new appliances this past year so at least I dont have to worry about those, but its gonna be lots of work and lots of money( that i dont have). I am just gonna have to take my time and get stuff when I can. The water damaged runied one of the cupboards, since they are so old, I will have to replace them all… if i want them to match… and who doesnt want matching cup boards! hehe

The bathroom also need to be drywalled. I might end up doing the bathroom before the kitchen. Just cuz it is so much smaller and the toilet vanity and mecine cabinet are alreayd new. just need to take it all out and replace the tub ( which is gonna be a pain since there is a window in the middle of the shower) So a normal surround wont work just right.  So yeah, just drywall, and a light in the ceiling with a fan, new tub, and flooring,  Can you belive both my bathroom and living room don’t have a light fixture in the ceiling!! old houses ! lol

 Im not even gonna worry about the 2 bedrooms downstairs anytime soon, they should also be drywalled and they need new carpet too but I’m gonna stick to the ONE ROOM AT A TIME TRICK!!!  SURE AM GONNA TRY TO ANYWAY!!!

Ok enough rambling for me!

Seriously?!?!

What is wrong with me. I have been eating fast food and junk for too long. I just can not break the HORRIBLE habit. The bad thing is there is healthy stuff at home, the fridge is full of veggies and fruit. I can not kick this horrible time!

Do you find it hard to drink all your water when the weather starts to get cold?

I work til 9 pm tonight. I guess tomorrow is another day. I plan on getting up and heading up the to the gym at 6 so I can start feeling better about myself! I just printed off new pages for my food journal. I threw all the old stuff away and I will start all over. I will do this.  Not for anyone else.. I will do this for me! You all have been so supportive, I will make you proud!!

Day #1

I am very much disgusted with myself after stepping on the scale this morning,  I weighed in at 171, when i was down to 163 just over a month ago!!! Now is not the time to dwell on the past, its time to wake up and start over. So here goes! I packed fruit in with my lunch and supper ( i have to work 9-5 & 5-9 tonight). I started the morning with breakfast and my multi vitamin too!  If I wasn’t so sore from falling down my basement steps this past Friday I would have got up and went to the gym too! Then again, I over did it on Tuesday when I stayed home from work and primed my living room walls, ripped out the carpet, scraped the floor, painted the walls, ripped down trim, and loaded up the stuff to haul to the transfer station. I think I am more sore from all that than when i fell down the steps.
