Way off the wagon…

Posted by jennifer on April 27th, 2008

Ok. I confess. I’ve forgotten all about points, weight loss, and “dieting” for the past few weeks. I feel gross, fat, tired, and sick. And it stops now. I’m getting back on!!! I’ve bought healthy food, planned a few menus, and I even picked up the May/June WW magazine to read for inspiration tonight. I’m not going to weigh myself (since we’ve seen how far off my scale is!) until mid-May when the husband and I get our Wii Fit in :) It has a built-in BMI tracker, so I’ll use that since it will likely be most accurate. I need some encouragement and motivation though, so feel free to send those comments my way! Clearly something went wrong over the past few weeks (likely linked to a super busy schedule with 20 hours of work a day on NIGHTS ewww) but it needs to stop! And I say enough is enough! :)

Hey, there! Don’t feel bad about dropping off — I’ve been MIA too! I’m starting over today so we can restart together! Here’s to making the last few days of April and the month of May really count! I posted today so go check it out and get caught up with what’s been going on with me. Talk to you soon! Donna

Hey we all have dropped off at some point the last couple of months. You are even starting a 12 hour rotation schedule.. whew! Just do you best and do what you can until you get your groove back. Remember this plan does not take PERFECTION but PERSISTENCE.

We’ve all been there!! What matters is that you get back on track. Just think where you will be if you quit right now and went back to eating all the bad stuff, you’ll end up putting back on what you have lost plus some, its so not worth it. I had a 2 month slump at the end of last year, but I managed to pick myself up and I realized that if I continued down that road, I’d be 250 lbs and miserable. Its just not worth it. Plus, even though its so so so hard, the results have got to be the best feeling in the world! Better then any delicously delicious pizza (sorry, thats one of my faves;) Its normal to have slumps, just as long as you pick yourself back up:) You CAN DO IT!! Always keep in mind why your doing this and why you want it so bad, I actually typed up all my reasons, printed them out and posted them around my house, I know it seems a little nutso, but its kinda worked for me. Do what ya gotta do girl!=)

Good that you have come back! It took me a couple of tries to get to where I am now, and I hope it continues, I (as others) just get up and keep going when it doesn’t all go as I hope, Don’t let some bad choices/days knock you, just keep going! I posted earlier today about how I (hope) have made it over my usual hurdles where I tend to fall. You can check out my blog, you might feel better and get some ideas. I’ve stuck it for almost a full month now, and feel like its going well, I think I might have finally passed go and collected 200? It might help you seeing how I made this time different? You can do it too, all the best!
