What do YOU eat for breakfast?

Posted by jennifer on April 6th, 2008

I need some new ideas. I love Oatmeal-To-Go squares. I like oatmeal with blueberries. I like Trader Joe’s frozen blueberry waffles with a hint of powdered sugar. I LOVE healthy muffins. But I need some fresh ideas for this month for breakfast food between 4 and 6 points that is portable, filling, and QUICK QUICK QUICK! Anyone have ideas for me? :)

my favorite breakfast is only 3 points!!!
    1 light english muffin=1 point
    3 egg whites= 1 point
    2 morningstar veggie sausages=1 point

this may sound like i takes time, but it doesn’t, i literally cook it is 5 minutes!!! just start the eggs, put the muffin in the toaster, and microwave the sausage for 1 min. Then i just put it all together and it makes a wonderful, low point, breakfats sandwich!!!

Fago greek yogurt. It is not sweet and it is thick. It’s great with fruit. I get the 2 percent over the 0 percent since it seems more satisfying.

I make mini-egg crustless quiches in a muffin pan with egg whites and veggies and then freeze them so I can reheat them quickly in the morning. I also use a slice of canadian bacon as a crust in the muffin pan then fill it in with egg whites and bake.
