Well, as proud of myself as I was for my gym attendance record last week, I should be highly disappointed in myself for this week. Monday: We were supposed to go have dinner with friends so I didn’t bring my gym clothes to work with me. They ended up canceling so I just went to my little sister’s game after work. Tuesday: Went to the gym but only did 30 minutes on the stair master as we were meeting friends for dinner at 7:30. Wednesday, helped my sister moved. We moved her entire apartment in an hour so that was definitely a workout. Today, I am going out to dinner with a friend I haven’t seen in like a year, so I know I won’t be making it to the gym tonight and then tomorrow night, I am picking my niece up after work and she is spending the night. The daycare at the gym is open late so I could just take her with me, but she is really sketchy with people she doesn’t know and I don’t want to freak her out. Plus, it costs money to leave her there. And, I haven’t seen her in like two weeks. Saturday I will have Chloe in the morning and I have to go to this one bridal shop in Mac then we are having a bunch of friends over for dinner and game night. Then Sunday, I am going to my Grandma’s in Salem early to work on Jack and Alice’s wedding clothes. Ahhhhh!!!

I am so proud of myself. I made it to the gym 4 times last week. I did hard core workouts each day. 50 minutes on the stair stepper (that’s 8 activity points right there!) about 8 arm activities on the ball at 30 reps each, and two ab machines. I did all of those each time. Plus, we helped some friends move to their 2nd story apartment all day Sunday, and that for sure counts as a workout!
Also, I have been doing really well at getting all my water in. I can’t even remember the last day where I was short. My eating is where I am still falling short. I do okay, but there is always something bad I have to eat during the course of the day. Some days it’s only a snack, but other days is a whole bad meal.
Still, I have been doing better than usual and expected some drastic change on the scale monday morning. My scale did not produce the number I wanted. However, I must keep in mind my body has got to be slowly transforming fat into muscle. At least that is the story I am sticking to!

Well, camping wasn’t as horrible as I thought it might be (diet wise) but it definitely wasn’t good. Not even sort of good. I don’t know about the rest of you, but camping to me means relaxing, eating lots of junk food, etc. Someone forgot to remind my brain that I am on a diet! I didn’t do too much snacking which is good. That is what I usually do. I stuck to mainly meals. There was one day when I munched down on a bag of puff cheetos. Nice. I had a nice cheeseburger for lunch one day, but then I didn’t eat dinner. And I only had half of a smore so that was pretty good. No exercise although we did walk all over town one day and down on the beach. Not at any fast pace but I guess anything is better than nothing at all.
Monday was not good, a lot of snacking on things I didn’t need and I didn’t make it to the gym. Tuesday I think I did pretty well. Oatmeal for breakfast, 100 cal snack pack for a snack. Sub sandwich for lunch. No afternoon snack. Salad and a sandwich for dinner. But then I splurged on dirt and worms for dessert. So I did go over my points for the day. (The sandwich wasn’t too good either, a Turkey Club) but I hit the gym. 50 minutes on the stair stepper for 8 activity points. Could be more than that though because the only option on WW.com is 36 steps per minute and I was doing 46 most of the time. So I was pretty excited about that. I had an epiphony about the gym. You see, I was running home after work, changing my clothes, and then going to the gym. But yesterday I brought my gym clothes to work so I could change there. I got to the gym way quicker so I was done quicker, and I had no excuse. I couldn’t get home and relaxed and not want to go. I am so brilliant!!! (Who would have thought it was take all these months to figure that one out!)
Breakfast: Oatmeal (2)
Snack: Reduced Fat Cheez-Its (3) Lunch: The other half of my Sub Sandwich (8) I’m sorry, can’t live w/o my cheese! Snack: 100-Cal Snack Pack (2) Dinner: Japanese Stir Fry (8) TOTAL……………………………..23 pts
That is just the plan. I’m sure I will find a way to throw in some extra points somewhere!
