Sorry it has been a while. (And sorry that I often begin my posts with that exact sentence). This week is just a really busy, weird week. First of all, I was starting to notice a bit of a difference in my body. Clothes fitting slightly nicer, lost a few inches. And guess what time of the month rolled around! That started Tuesday. But Saturday, I started experiencing some all to familiar symptoms. By Sunday, I woke up with this stabbing pain in my back on the left. I went to the Dr. Monday with both sides of my back hurting. The UTI was back, and now in my kidneys! I don’t get it. I have never had a bladder infection in my entire life, and now I have had two in one month. (Or maybe just a continuation of the first one, not really sure) Also, I promised my friend Tricia that I would help her out with the Scrapbooking convention that she is doing a booth at and she gave me this big project to do. It needed to be done by Wednesday night and I only got the stuff on Friday night. Plus, Saturday, I had to run all over the place to get supplies for it. I literally had to spend every minute from the time I got home from work, to the time I went to bed this week working on it. I have to set up tonight, and work Friday night, and all day Saturday. Then, a retirement party Sat night and my grandmother’s birthday on Sunday. I have not gone to the gym once this week. And I haven’t been eating very well either. UGH!!

Trevin is on my list today. He decided at 9:30 at night last night that he really wanted his favorite cookie: the snickerdoodle. So he made a batch, because, of course, the man can eat whatever he wants and doesn’t gain a pound! And shamefully enough, I had four for breakfast, a breakfast burrito, and two more for lunch. AND GUESS WHAT! That would be all of my points for the day! I guess I better hit the gym hard tonight.

Well, it went only okay. I was snacking like a crazy maniac, but I still didn’t make the greatest of choices. Saturday, Trevin and I went to the gym at about 9, then we went home and my mom picked us up around 11:45 to go check out a wedding site in Salem. So we went to Salem and back and had to change really fast and head our to our friends house, then we went to the tavern out there and were out until midnightish. So it was just a very long day, and we weren’t exactly in a position to be picky about food choices. I had a chicken sandwich in the car on the way to Salem which was really yummy. Then we had some chicken pizza out at the tavern and I had 2 Coors Lights. And that’s really all I ate that day. Then Sunday, I decided I was sick and tired of running around like a mad man, so I decided that on Sunday, I was going to do NOTHING. I stayed in my sweats, left my glasses on and watched TV all day and never left the house. I know, it sounds really lame, but it felt so good to just rest for a day! It made for some bad eating choices. (for one, we have not gone to the grocery store since we came home from my parents house, which woudl be over a week now, so there is literally nothing in the house. So I had pasta for lunch and chile and cornbread for dinner. Lovely, I know. BAD BAD BAD
Today An english muffin w/ 1T peanut butter, 1c reduced fat cheez-its and now I am going to go eat Smart ones meal for lunch.

After a little nagging from my favorite Corvallis people, here is my post. This week has been slightly odd. I was going to start the WW Buff Brides challenge on Monday. I ate well Monday and was planning on a trip to the gym, but my sister needed help moving so that didn’t happen. (but if you ask me, moving furniture up three flights of stairs is a pretty decent workout!) Then, Tuesday, I was having some very unusual symptons. I was really tired, having to pee a lot, and some other weird symptons that I’m sure none of you care to hear about. So I did a little google research and decided I better go to the doctor. Turns out I had a UTI. After the doctor’s visit, a trip to the pharmacy, and the grocery store, it was late when I made it home, and once again, didn’t make it to the gym. Then, I slept horribly on Tuesday night. I honestly think I got maybe 3 hours of sleep. Trevin wasn’t home and I don’t sleep when he is away. Then, Wednesday, I woke up with a headache that even with the aid of some advil, didn’t go away until I went to bed Wednesday night. Plus, the anti-biotics made me feel really weak and dizzy that day. I could barely eat anything, let alone go to the gym. Today, I am feeling much better. I was slightly nausiated this morning (more anti-biotic issues) but after eating some All Bran Wheat Flakes for breakfast and a little chicken and rice for lunch, I think I am back to my old self again and will definately be going to the gym tonight. I weighed in Monday and I was down .5lbs but I have no idea what this crazy week will have done to it now!
On the plus side, I am LOVING WW. It’s so easy to fit into my life style and doing the WW online makes it super easy for me to post everything and keep track of it all!!
