I have started this blog at the request of my best friend/maid of honor (If you can’t tell by the title my site, I am getting married). Allison went in and set it up and has been nagging me ever since to get on here and blog. I hate to admit, but she is probably right. I think blogging will be a great way to help hold me accountable as I try to lose some weight before the wedding.

The tentative date of the wedding is August 22nd, 2008 so I have about 9 months. As I am new to this and not quite ready to share with the entire world my weight, let’s just say at this point I would like to lose 50 pounds before the big day. I will be joining a gym but as my little sister just got a job at LA Fitness, I am waiting until she can sell memberships so I can give her the sale. Until then, I am just trying to eat right and now blog. I say trying to eat right because I have already lost 5 pounds, but Thanksgiving is tomorrow. (I don’t think you should skip the big meal, however hard you are trying to diet!!!)

Well, I am off to bed. I have my 4 month old niece spending the night tonight so I think I better take all the sleep I can get. More tomorrow, hopefully. Hope this makes you feel better Ali. Love you!
