7.5 grapefruit…that is how much I will be eating over the next 5 days. As I mentioned in a previous post this week is going to be what they call the 7-day break. It is supposed to help minimize any plateau that usually gets experienced after 6-9 weeks of “dieting”.
So for the first 5 days my food looks like this:
Breakfast-1/2 grapefruit and 1/2 cup eggbeaters
AM Snack-Protein Bar
Lunch-1/2 Grapefruit, 2 cups of salad greens, 7 oz of lean protein
PM Snack-Another high protein snack
Dinner-1/2 grapefruit, 2 cups of salad greens, 1/2 cup cooked veggies, 7 oz of lean protein
The last two days (Saturday and Sunday)
Breakfast- 1/2 orange and 1/2 cup egg beaters
AM Snack-protein bar
Lunch-Lean protien, green raw veggies, and 1/2 orange
PM Snack-another high protien snack item
Dinner-Lean protein and raw green veggies
The timing of this “break” is really good for me. Mentally I needed a break from figuring out what to eat and this week at work is going to be insanely busy.
