Hi there,

I saw the same infomercial you saw and ordered the DVDs online. I just did the one DVD tonight and I really liked it. It also seemed easy to follow. I would recommend trying it.

I, too, got completely sucked into that same infomercial and I bought the DVD! haha...BUT I actually really love it! There are several different workouts - 5 to be exact and depending on how much time I have depends on which one I do. The 20 minute workout has gotten me through on several occassions and I always work up a sweat! The "Learn and Burn" was very informative and taught me the proper techniques/moves/etc. And then of course Ab Jam is wonderful. Unfortunately, I had a minor injury set back (not related to the DVDs) and I haven't been able to use the DVD in months so I don't have much to show for them anymore but I can tell you I really like them!

Hey Bret,
First of all I just read your "about" page and I must say I love your sense of humor! Your bankers butt comment had me just rollin'! Next...I don't have a review of the exercise DVD you are talking about... But personally, if my hubby was willing to exercise with me, I'd pick up the phone and dial immediately! Mine doesn't think his physique needs any improvments! lol So I'd say "go for it" and keep us posted!

hmmm... this is a tough one... many times I think we see people begin to slip in this area, and then before you know, phase themselves out completely... as they allow weight loss to be less and less of a priority. I think it's hard to find that balance and truly come back strong. We lose motivation and "life" often gets in the way. I don't know what the answer is, besides just keep keeping on... and don't quit blogging. I'm sure as things calm down you will jump back on this wagon train! don't leave us! (:

I know how you feel about bottled water. By the time you factor in the gas to transport, the plastic it's made out of, and that most bottles are not recycled, you realize that bottled water is really bad for the environment. I agree that the big water tank probably isn't as bad.

My office has a filter thing that is hooked up to the regular water line that cools the water and heats it. It also has the coffee maker attached. I figure it's better than bottled water too. I just bring my little reusable rubbermaid sippy bottle and drink up. I don't know what I'd do without it! I guess I'd be parched too.

Ug. I hate this feeling. Probably some of it is emotional don't ya think?? When my dh is gone even just for the evening, it's like a license to eat eat eat... just cause I'm lonely.

ADVICE: as you get back on track... DRINK TONS OF WATER. Every time you're hungry, tell yourself you have to drink an entire 16 oz bottle of water. It really stops my cravings!

Good luck! YOU CAN DO THIS! (:

I COMPLETELY know the feeling. I just said this to my best friend today. How is it that we can work so hard, take off a bunch of weight and then in a short period of time, completely let go? That's how I got to where I am. I'm taking it one day at a time and knowing that I did it once, actually twice before keeps me going because I can do it again. And you can too!!

Your post is very motivational. It's so true! We hate to see a gain, but an ounce or two is not going to trip us up and send us back where we were! Woo hoo!
