I feel like I just announced to the world let the feasts begin! What is my deal? I know that I am overly tired right now and have chosen to suffer through my own personal pity party with food. I was on such a great roll and now look at me… I’m over stuffed, tummy hurts, tired, and feeling like poo! I have to get out of this funk and back on track!
This weekend we had such a wonderful time, we went out of town, went to an NFL game, our team won, we ate, we played, we walked dogs, we shopped, we collaborated with family over wrapping presents, the fun just wouldn’t end… which why I suspect I’m now in a lull. After our wonderful weekend, I had to drag myself to work this morning on a few hours sleep whilst everyone else is still on holiday.
Then I realized how pathetic am I? I need to be much more appreciative for the wonderful things I do have. My top ten list of things I am grateful for:
1. My husband and daughter
2. My family (mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, pets, etc)
3. Safe and warm home
4. Abundance of food
5. Opportunities
6. Friends
7. This support group/community
8. My health
9. Being able to do the things I love
10. The opportunity to life in a free country!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! My pity party is officially ending and I’m back in the Christmas spirit! Time to Mrs. Claus up and get with it!
Wishing you all a wonderful holiday!
What a great list and outlook!
