Fight of my life

or exciting to report.  The weight on the home scale is back down to where I was pre-turkey holiday feast, which is good.  I’m hoping to make it back to my 10% goal at WI on Thursday, so that I can receive the coveted key chain. 

I’ve done pretty well over the weekend but had some splurges too.  Currently I’m within my Flex Points for the week with 4 to spare and 2 days left.  I’m planning to be within my daily points today and tomorrow - so hopefully I won’t need the remaining FP’s.  If I can accomplish my goal of an entire week OP, I will be so excited for myself!  This will have been the first week completely within ”policy” in my entire 4 month journey on WW’s.  Who knows, if I keep this up I might actually be at goal, heart healthy at 140 lbs, by the end of the first quarter ‘08! 

I’m trying to think of a mini reward for myself if I’m able to stay within my points this week.  I keep drawing a blank… will have to ponder this a bit.  I don’t want to spend a lot of money (more like $10 or free even).  What are some of the simple ways you reward yourself?  I would love to hear your ideas! :)

    I was thinking about your mini goal reward idea. Mine have gotten pricy (pedicures, facials, etc), so I started thinking about what would be $10 or less…new nail polish, movie theater ticket, Christmas socks, kitchen gadget, yummy smelling candle (or bath bubbles) to enjoy during a long hot bubble bath, an ornament for your tree that you normally wouldn’t splurge $10 on, book (used books from Amazon are generally

    I lost the weight for the wedding but in the meantime realized how badly I needed to lose it for my health. So thank you for the reminder of that. It wasn’t just the goal of fitting in the dress, and I had forgotten that. Just being healthy can be my motivation and I don’t think I had realized that (until I read your post). I knew joining this community would be a good thing :)

    Go buy a mask scrub thingie at the drug store along with some peppermint lotion and treat yourself to a facial and pedicure. Might be more than $10 but it will last more than once so you could “invest” in all the stuff now and then treat yourself regularly :). Hope you get the key chain soon!
