It’s official, I’ve maintained for an entire month now. This complacency stops here & now! This is not where I want to be. I know that bungalow looked cute yesterday but I know that in a couple more months the what if questions will rear their ugly heads. What if I had worked harder? What if there really is a better house for this body to plant itself in down that road? If I settle here, what else will I settle for?
Enough is enough! I’m cracking the whip and moving on down the road. I’m packing up my gear. I will climb this mountain one pebble at a time, by golly. My goals to help me step it up this week are:
- Personal Situp & Push up challenge (must do 3 sets of 10 through the day, every day).
- Stay within point targets each & every day
- Must do 5 lunges at every TV commercial break when watching TV.
- Cut sweets back - Drink tea, sf ff hot choc, or coffee instead or replace with lower point sweets (i.e. Banana drizzled w/ 1 Tbsp choc syrup = 2 pts).
I’m going to use Julie’s idea about being the little engine that could… I think I can, I think I can…. I think I can do it too! Here’s to all my blog pals and their wonderful support! Thank you for kicking me off my complacency stool and giving me the Omph to carry on!

Thank you so much for your comment! I don’t know why, but they really mean a lot! It’s going to be hard work kicking up your routine, but you can do it!! You’ve already lost weight, and hey, at least you haven’t gained at all this month. That counts! Any suggestions about finding a soccer group to play with? I could play indoor this winter, but I don’t know if they have adult groups- the last time I played I was in hs. Have a great day!!
