Fight of my life

The crab salad I had for lunch has me feeling crabby this afternoon.  I had a client luncheon and choose the mixed green salad with crab, artichoke hearts, and a light citrus vinaigrette from the restaurant.  I have no idea how many points the lunch cost me - I’m guesstimating around 10 points.  I struggle with eating out (the points are always so much higher), however,  it’s a necessary part of my job.  I try to take clients out to other things but some times lunch is the only thing they will agree to.

So after breakfast, lunch, & snack I have 5 points left for dinner plus an additional 4 AP’s from my run this morning.  I know 9 pts sounds like a lot but then I’m scheduled to have dinner with some family friends and there’s no telling what they’ll serve.  I’m hungry again, no way to plan for a snack, and crabby.  I know that hunger is not an emergency.  Here comes that darn butt again… but I’m hungry and cranky!

Obviously, I need to stop at the store tonight to buy some zero point snacks for work.  I know that would help my predicament.  I’ve decided to let it go and eat my nectarine for 1 point.  Hopefully, there will be some vegetables served with dinner & I can load up on those.  Please, oh please let the food gods be on my side!  Healthy foods, let there be healthy foods on the table tonight!
