HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

So~its 2008~and guess what I didn’t achieve what I wanted to by the end of ‘07! I can only say it was for lack of trying and lack of full commitment! No excuses, plain honest~I did not do it!~So at midnight, unable to fall asleep I’m thinking to myself~”You failed?~Why??!” And you know what? That is negative thinking. I put to many “goals” on my plate: Lose 25 pounds, exercise everyday, eat only veggies and fruit! Now, that is just too much for little (or big) old me!~I read Roni’s post this morning and we were on the same wave length!~Too many goals~To much pressure~Of course you are going to bail, or fall off the wagon. So here is to a new year~and new goals…..

My new 2008 goals: 1) Make time for healthy exercise (whether that is the gym or playing with my daughter outside) 2) Make smarter choices in food and quantity of food. 3) Be patient and kind to myself when I step on the scale. 4) Realize I’m only human. Everyday is a new day.
