I found the following on another blog (http://blogs.weightwatchen.com/klw313/) here in weight watchen……and it’s a great one! Kim’s really onto something here!
“Give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day. Teach a man to catch fish and he’ll eat for a lifetime.”
My version: Give a woman a plan to lose weight and she’ll get skinny. Teach her to deal with her food issues and she’ll stay skinny. Read the rest of this entry »

Hey all….still getting the kinks out of this whole new world of blogging…and would love to post some pictures of myself but I can’t figure out how to do it…do I want to write a new page?….also…I had some pictures in a couple of posts but they were somehow messed up within a couple of days and just a box with an x showed…any ideas what was up? I deleted them….

Asking for help

I chose this quote today because of personal experience. I used to be the kind of person who was afraid to try anything that looked like it would be hard to do, or I would struggle with it….To a certain extent I probably still am, but what I’m learning is that there are all kinds of people willing to help you out and teach you how to do different things if you just work up the nerve to ask.
