I was debating…

on whether to do flex or CORE this week… I started posting yesterday CORE, but forgot that I was having some ladies over for a birthday party w/ cake and ice cream… so I switched to Flex, ate a little less yesterday and scraped by points-wise. Although I almost never add in activity points so that’s gotta help a bit as well.
Today was back to Step Aerobics and I pushed myself a lot harder today. I used 2 “bricks” almost the entire time to up my intensity and I just pushed my energy level to the max. Felt great! Yesterday I was surprised how easy step seemed considering I hadn’t worked out in a week. I’m glad I didn’t lose my “in-shape-ness” in that amount of time.
The leftover cake and ice cream are still here. I put the cake in a bottom drawer and hopefully I won’t even remember it’s here… dh has to weigh in tomorrow on a bet he’s doing w/ my dad… so he doesn’t need it either. Next week I will be housesitting and they have a digital scale so I will save my weigh in for there… and PRAY that I can undo any damage from this past weekend.
