It’s almost Friday! Hurray!

1st of all… WELCOME! Big Tickles to the Junk-Free-January
Now there are 7 of us because Bonita has joined as well!! Ya for us!
well…another crazy day (isn’t there a limit to these?!?!)
not bad crazy… just busy. My mom drove our new mini-van into town today… it’s fun to have a new vehicle.. even if it’s just new to us… and it’s GREAT to not have to bend over into the backseat of a 2-door car, to buckle my dd in her carseat! woo hoo!
I didn’t write down my food today but I had my mom add up my points for me as I went thru them outloud and I had 33 after dinner. I just ate an apple w/ a little pb for an additional 3 points… so my grand total is 36… -2 activity points =4 flex points. I got in all my f&v’s and milk.. and I think darn close on my waters, if not all.

NOTE: I have to quit doing pushups… ever since my pg w/ dd, I have had major wrist problems. Today it was too painful to even get on my hands and knees. SAD. I must stop until I see a dr. and figure out what I can do to strengthen my wrist.. Today I did “flies” for my chest instead.

I am so thrilled to be joining this no sweets challenge. I have notified my DH and he has agreed to be the candy police for me. I can finally get in my fruits instead of saying “hey this candy has fruit in it” - ha ha
To answer your question on my blog, my walk with Christ grows everyday. I have had some bumps on my journey but I will never give up my walk with Him. However what I am abandoning is allowing people to project their unrealistic expectations on me because I am a PK. It is too much stress, too much drama and is one of the reasons why I chose to hide behind my weight instead of telling them to take a hike.

A junk free challenge! I considered signing up for it, but honestly, I had too much junk in the house right now (and an anniversary and a birthday coming up soon) so I can’t commit to it. But, just knowing that you guys are taking it on — I popped a cookie and a mini cream puff in my mouth this evening without really thinking about it, but stopped eating even more because I started thinking and I thought about you and about the challenge!
You might want to try doing push ups with your hands in fists and the pink part of your fist resting on the floor. That’s really helped my wrists when I’ve been doing push ups.
