Scale reading: 160.2 Down 2 lbs!
Well.. the truth hit today! I headed in to WW to weigh-in (tho’ I’m going back tonight w/ a friend) and truthfully, I had weighed several times these past few days and I knew I was down, at least 2 lbs. So what I was really hoping for was to break in to the 150’s…. Why can’t we just be happy with a 2 lb!!!! loss… I had to hope for more and then allow myself to be disappointed. STUPID! Actually, I am totally thrilled with that loss! I am going to weigh again tonight, just in case, I weigh 4 ounces less! Ha… high hopes I’m sure… although I didn’t nurse right before, OR go to the bathroom… so you never know! (:
Anyways.. I am officially 10 lbs (technically 9.8) lighter than I was when I first started WW on my own. And that is a great!!!!! accomplishment! (go ahead… pat me on the back!) (:

Well, the weekend is over, and I PRAY I have as big of weight loss as I’m thinking I’ll have. I normally WI on Monday’s but I have somethin going at my church tonight so I will go tomorrow.
Aunt Flo came to visit this weekend, after a year and a half of freedom (: it’s hard to get used to that again! But I’m hoping it might aide in my weight loss tomorrow in case I was retaining water before I started. This weekend was.. well.. let’s just say, a weekend of “choices”. It did much better than I COULD have, but there was potential to do better, and I just gave in a few times. Overall, I came out on top. Haven’t used all my flexies (as far as I can tell.. I had to guess a bit…) but I think I won’t use any today, just in case I guessed wrong on some of my points. It seems like the week from weigh-in to weigh-in is soooooo long. Feels like FOREVER!

If you notice in one of my posts today, I pasted a recipe from WW.com - Chocolatey Chocolate chip cookies. YUM. Yum. That’s the problem. There’s a reason I don’t usually make things like this. I buy “yucky” (to me) cookies for dh to take to work and I make sure they’re something that’s not even a temptation. These “1 pointers” were a HUGE temptation. Notice my food log. 8 points. Ug. I don’t even know if that’s accurate. Could be 10. I tried to count, and at the same time, I think I tried not to count… I didn’t want to know how many it had been each time I went back. This is my downfall… my problem area. It’s the reason why every time I go to my in-law’s house, I have such a hard time. I don’t do well with temptation around, beckoning to me, calling my name. WHY CAN”T I JUST HAVE SELF CONTROL?!?! Well, I don’t. And I know that. I have self control in not buying them. I have self control in not stopping at Dairy Queen or _______ (wherever… fill in the blank). BUT, I don’t seem to have self control when they’re around, w/in easy access. Sometimes I wonder what my weight loss would be if I didn’t have these once a week crashes! For a while there I was so impressed that I didn’t even WANT sugary treats. Where did I go wrong?!!? (: So, this is my struggle. I know that I can’t just eat one, or eat them in “moderation”. And so, I know for me at least, I can’t have them around. It just doesn’t work for me. Can anyone relate????
O and I was reading someone’s (I can’t remember whose…) blog yesterday and they measure their weight loss in kilos.. and I was joking with her that she should list her weight loss in lbs because it sounds like more, and maybe she should list her goal (weight to lose), in kilos! Ha. So, I told her I was thinking maybe it would be more encouraging if I listed my weight loss in grams! Think about how much that would be! So far since starting WW, I’ve lost….
3 628.73896 grams !!!!!!
