Well, I was right. I was up a couple of pounds. I’m still below the top of the weight range (155) but am weighing in at 153.2….pre-pregnancy strangeness I was at 150.2 or 150.4.

My short-term goal is to get back to that 150-ish range and then see about going down from there. However, that’ll mean I need to WRITE DOWN all my food (and not just write down a day or part of a day). And, I’ve joined Swizzlepop’s exercise challenge to kick my rear into gear for the next couple of weeks.

So….I weigh in tomorrow. I’m still at or under my WW goal weight, so I’m not too worried, but I know that I’ve either gained or maintained during the last week (and a couple of days since I couldn’t weigh in on Tuesday like normal). I’m a bit disappointed in myself…I just haven’t had the self-discipline to PUT THE FOOD DOWN! I find myself mindlessly eating….and most of it is junk. I’m not hungry, I either pick up the food that is sitting around and pop it into my mouth or sometimes I just want to have a party in my mouth (as I remember Dr. Phil talking about when he did his big weight loss program/series).

But now that I’ve confessed that, I’m going to go brush my teeth and STOP MYSELF!!!

What are you thankful for?

I’m thankful for my wonderful husband, 3 darling daughters, wonderful parents, and kooky brother and brother-in-law. I’m thankful for a multitude of friends. I’m thankful for a job that I can work hours that fit me and my family.

I’m thankful for Weight Watchers and their Good Health Guidelines and blogging support! I’m thankful for all you.

I’m thankful that I live in America and can worship God how and when I want. I’m thankful for a full pantry, frig, and freezer. And, I’m thankful that they are full of stuff that is completely different this year than I’ve filled them in the past.

I hope you all have LONG lists of what you are thankful for!

Just a quick update to let you know at our doctor’s appoint Monday we discovered that the baby didn’t have a heartbeat. I’ve just got back from the hospital but probably won’t be blogging for a bit as we go through a period of grieving.
